Seems like there is an upcoming influx of "art-inspired" decks.

These deck is from the same person who did "Alteregonisms Playing Cards".

While there is an improvement from the previous project, i still think it needs a little more work. For a start, the back could be a little more exciting for an "art-inspired" deck rather than just text. Also, it would look much better if they had 54 different works rather than having 1 work of art on 4 cards (13 works of art), especially if these deck is meant to showcase the artist works to more people. Very much a "marketing" deck more than a "collectors" deck.

Wow, so far this one is doing worse than their previous campaign. It has exactly $0 right now. Doing just as good as those Cruisin Cards on KS.

Just my opinion, but I think the repetitiveness of the images is really hurting this a lot.

The back design, if you can call it that, doesn't help either!

Since I collect cards mainly for the art,  I should be happy that there's an increase in the number of art-inspired decks,  but I haven't had the urge to pledge for any that came after the Playing Arts deck.

And I agree,  this deck would have been better if there were 54 unique designs.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

No, it was an attempt at running a second account - a violation of the terms of service here.  I deleted that account, but I'm also resetting his reputation number to 1 on his "thecardcollector" account.  This way he gets a fresh start and keeps his post total.  I know I've busted his chops in the past so I've decided that enough is enough, that I'm turning over a new leaf and giving him a chance to do the same - I ask that you all give him the opportunity.  If you see him posting something good, give his rep a bump up.
