Thanks for the link!! There are some awesome deals there. I would have picked some stuff up but I just made an order for some Big Gun decks today. Check the sale out! There are many decks for 1USD, which is a pretty great deal.

Is worth getting stuff from there if you are buying more than 6 decks. For a few the shipping is kinda high

For those of you who are looking to get the S&M V4, I would urge you to grab them at this price. It's only going to rise in the future.

Wasn't there someone that was looking for some Massa? There you go!

Thanks for the info! It's really tempting to pick up a few of the $1 decks but I wouldn't be getting enough to make the shipping worth it. I'm sure lot's of others will jump on this opportunity.

the shipping to singapore is about 5 bucks per deck. which makes it even more expensive then buying straight from a seller here. i really hoped that the shipping would be cheaper. the 1 dollar decks and the v4s are really so tempting.

yea im not sure what the deal is. cuz the 13.60 international small box shipping fits up to 8 decks. i know this cuz i've had cards shipped in that box twice and it definitely fits 8 decks. u cant fill it with padding but u can still get it in with some bubble wrap.

So I'm guessing its around an hour or so later and Josh just got back to me from the website... The reason I couldn't order the Ten Bricks or even the 12 Decks was because there are only (3) Decks Available... Wish I would've found out earlier... SMDH...

Was it because of stock issues? When I was looking at it earlier I filled my cart but many of the items were actually out of stock. That's the only issue I had though. I didn't end up buying anything though, so I can't attest for the checkout system only the stock issue

Yeah well they were priced to sell  ;) I would have been surprised if they lasted much longer!! Some of the best prices I've seen on most of those decks ever. Hopefully this is the rice of the 1 dollar deck, with the Big Guns and the many decks Maydey had to offer haha  ;)

No problem guys. I have no idea what version those Jaqks are. I would assume 2nd ed. because of price but all their other decks are also very cheap so idk. They also have some nice T`shirts for $2.50 each, not sure what the quality would be like but for $2.50 you can`t really go wrong.

I wanted some Massa's and an Eco-Deck or two, but in order for shipping to pay for itself, I will need to get like 30 decks. That will give me $15 shipping, and I feel $45 for 30 decks is a good deal.

Also, it says they have bulk discounts if you purchase 12 or more of the same deck. Does anyone know if this will apply with this sale?

I don't think so. When I put 14 or more of a deck in my cart it didn't give me any extra discount on top of the sale

The decks weren't wrapped in anything, no bubble wrap, no paper, just sitting in the box free to rattle around.

I have to say I am very disappointed. I ordered 21 decks: a brick of massas, and 9 other decks. My decks arrived very quickly in a big box, but:
1) My brick of Massas wasn't protected in any way, and both the brick box and the boxes of the decks were damaged. As for the cards themselves, I haven't seen yet.
2) My other decks came in a brick of mixed Tally-hos, in bubble wrapping. I haven't taken off the bubble wrapping but when I do, I will tell you about it.
This sale was great but I was disappointed by the massas.

@Nathan, I guess the cards were not damaged. Sellers often use Massa's to protect other high price decks, and obviously this seller thought they (Massa's) did not deserve to be bubble wrapped  :P :P

In this case, I only bought 1$ decks, so I do not see why my brick of massas wouldn't be bubble-wrapped while my other decks should. Do you think I should message them telling them about this?

I would if I were you. In fact I take pics when opening all packages I receive.
Message them and see what they will say. Sometimes we don't really want to return the items or ask them to refund partial money, but we want justice. If they are wrong, at least they should apologize to you.

So I asked them, and here is what they responded:
"It's unfortunate to hear that some of the goods you purchased were damaged in transit, and most of all the fault is completely mine. I can understand the frustration you must be experiencing with your order and most likely Maydey.com in general. However, I will continue to strive to reach total satisfaction with each and every customer I come into contact with. With regards to your current order, I propose a few different options in handling this mishap.

- Full refund for the shipping charges for your order: $16.27

- A Gift Certificate on your next purchase for the value of your order: $36.67

- A full refund & return of your order ($36.67). You must pay the shipping costs for your return of goods.

If you have any additional questions, perhaps taking a look at our Shipping & Returns Policy will help. If not, feel free to contact me with how you would like to handle this unfortunate matter.

I am keeping on keeping the decks. The aren't trashed, they are usable, but they still are in very bad condition. I'm planning on using the option that allows me to keep all of my decks but get a discount of the price of what I bought + my shipping price on their website, giving me 35$ of free stuff. Even if they never have a sale like this ever again, it'll still be worth it because I will get a 35$ discount rather than a 16$ discount for shipping. Anyways, I asked them if they would ever get some decks back (other than the ones in the attic) and also if the 35$ discount included shipping.
Thanks for your help, you guys,
Nathan

Chances are good! I got my package in and out of my 5 Massa's:
-Three had crushed boxes
-One had the front of the box completely crushed in
-One didn't have ANY cellophane, was crushed, and had an open seal

Why is this company having so much trouble with shipping? It's making me think that I should forget about this company and not order from them.

This wasn't my first time ordering from them but it was my first time having trouble. The issue was that they had many many MANY orders on the same day, and, in their hurry to ship quickly, they didn't carefully protect some decks. Other than that, they are pretty trustworthy.

This company has very good customer service. They helped me out, and were very kind to me!

Don't let these mishaps keep you from purchasing from there!

Wow, this is one of the best services I have seen for a card company  :o  I mean in terms of making up for their mistakes in both words and extra services they beat the rest hands down  ;)

Hello all,

Just got word from Nathan about this forum. I'd first like to say that I am truly thankful that someone would make it publicly known that their order from my website did not arrive as expected. I've been shipping out orders since 2009 to a great number of customers both new and old - returning and one-time buyers. You guys make it such a joy to provide this service to you. This is the first time since then I've had problems with shipments, and for good reason too! Several orders flowed through to me mid-week last week. So many in fact, I had no choice but take work off on Friday to try and get all of the orders out in a timely manner. Because of this, some of the orders were not packaged properly, which can only be the fault of mine. I understand the negativity this may arouse amongst existing and potential customers. Don't fret - it won't happen again (unless the Postal Service loses your order)!

As of now, what you see on the store front is what you get - we were wiped clean of our in stock products until further notice.

Once again, thank you for voicing your opinions, concerns and praises. I hope to continue to deliver great products and unbeatable prices in the near future.

Thank You Aether Community,

Josh

I bought one of these because I needed a sealed one to match the sealed blue WPT Bee I've had for who knows how long. I would have been pretty upset if they weren't Cincinnati decks.

Got my order today, All was in perfect condition :)  And I really like the massas. :)

The way I keep hearing it from people, that feeling about the Massas won't last long.  They might do better with infrequent handling and trying to keep them from getting too warm.  Also, they have a cool one-way back, in that it's easy enough to spot if you look, but the pattern is so simple that most people won't even think to look!

I saw that one way it is pretty sweet. Also for $1 the handling is pretty damn good, I don`t know what the durability will be like but I'll see. Also are massa made by USPCC? idk if it was answered somewhere else but idk.

It's not by produced by USPCC, instead a company called Casino Playing Cards Ltd.

well it doesn`t handle that bad, why don`t more small companies print through them?

The reason Massas got so cheap is that they don't last.  No one wants a costly deck that wears out quickly.  At this point, it's like clearance prices.  I only paid $2 a pack for mine last month from (shudder) Merz67.

I was bored and decided to check out their site but it seems like they are no more. for those of you who have had gift certificates as compensation for your damaged goods, have you claimed them?

Here is the rapid response I just got:

"No worries on the status of the site. There was just a minor error in processing the payment to renew the server. Should be back up soon.

Thanks for inquiring,

Josh"
Great news!

Friends,

I'm back up. There was a small billing issue with the server. No worries for those who have credits!

Thanks,

Josh

Yay! So, do you have any plans on selling more decks?
