Title: Bee Watermelons vs. Gargoyles
Post by: awesomeness12 on February 19, 2012, 08:44:16 AM
So I'm having trouble deciding which is better and worth the money: Bee Watermelons or The Gargoyles deck. For 2 Gargoyles decks( which is the amount I want) is about 17$. For the Bee watermelons, it's about that same price. What are your opinions in these cards? Can you tell which is worth it?

Bee Watermelons: Great Bee Casino stock, cambric finish, great quality.
Gargoyles: Bike stock, magic finish, great quality.

I personally like gargoyles better, as of right now it is my favorite deck of all time so i would go with gargoyles but if you want some great cinci cards go with watermelons.

I would say the Bee Watermelons. If you're a magician, The silver pips on the Gargolyes just reflects light like mad and you end up having a deck that looks like a blank face deck. If you're into cardistry, the Bee Watermelon has thick Bee stock and an awesome, AWESOME back design that just stands up from the rest of the other decks you can find. The back design is such an happy design as compared to decks being produced nowadays, All being so dark. If you're just a collector, The Bee Watermelons are a classic vintage deck that are relatively hard to find, I'll recommend these. The only downside of the watermelons is that they use the Standard Bicycle pips and the usual Bee AOS and Jokers. If your looking for a more customized deck, then the Gargoyles will be better. So all in all, I would recommend the Bee Watermelons. I just wished I had some of them for myself:D

Woah, you're talking about 2 completely different decks.
Different stock, finish, design, colors, themes, designers, etc.

It really comes down to opinion and preference.
Also, what would you be using them for?

If it's collecting then I agree with MagicAddictz for one each. Otherwise if you do flourishing or tricks, I'd probably get those RJRTC

Bee watermelons all the way. Gargoyles are still around and are quite mainstream atm, the Bee's are harder to find, don't miss out on them.
