Hello everybody!
I am deeman103 (better known as David). I am a high school student in the US looking to improve my skills with cards. I started casually learning tricks on youtube about a month ago and  I've decided that, throughout my life, (or at least the next couple years :)) Im going to try to become an expert in the 4 corners of the playing card world: card tricks, design and collecting, cardistry, and throwing. Ive tried a bit of each and they all seem to make a strong impression on an audience. That's why I like cards so much! I hope I can fit right into this forum and maybe learn a couple things I don't already know about cards :).

I live in Maryland near Washington, DC. Fun fact about me: my first name is David and my last name rhymes with Blaine.

Heya David Welcome welcome to the beautiful land of Aetheria (okay I'm just being a total geek hahaha) No but seriously. Welcome to The Discourse. I saw your thread on the Sales Forum and I'm glad Nathan took the liberty of nudging you towards this direction. :P

Anyway, Josh pretty much summed up most of what I usually say. But if you do have any questions and/or concerns feel free to PM any of the Admins/Mods we will be more than happy to help you out.

Its nice that you are delving into the "4 corners of the playing card world"

So what influenced you into cardistry and the likes?

Hey David, you'll fit right in with us card freaks over here. Don't be put off by how knowledgeable some folk here are. We love teaching people new to the hobby so if you have any questions at all, seriously, don't hesitate to ask.
