I am in search of about a dozen regular black deck seals. They have deck seals on Ellusionist for $5 with a pack of 20. Unfortunately, they do not have black. I have also found they sell packs of 100 at PenguinMagic for $20. Again, I have no intention in using 100 nor have the money to buy that much. I have also looked on Ebay, but none of the listings have the right conditions. Although most are sold in packs of 100, I've found one sold in a pack of 20.However, the seller is in the UK. I have also found another listing selling a pack of 25 seals, but I doubt they are the authentic deal. After my search, I now turn you, the members of this forum. I am in search of about a dozen seals. I am willing to pay a quarter for each you may have. If you are up for trades, I am willing to trade one pack of Biycle Blue Rider Backs for the set of 20. If you have any questions or offers, please feel free to personal message me. Thanks!
P.S. - I'm from the United States

Did you try this one?

Yes I have! But I've talked about it in my earlier post:
I have also found another listing selling a pack of 25 seals, but I doubt they are the authentic deal.
I have a gut feeling that these aren't authentic, because if you look carefully, the spade is not as curved. The black might also be a bit off. Those observations lead me to the conclusion that they are not authentic, and as you know, in magic, originality is the key.

I own the ones from Penguin Magic and there are a couple differences from the Ebay ones. First of all, the shape, as you noted. Secondly, the penguin magic ones say "Genuine Playing Cards" instead of "The United States Playing Card Company". Finally, I just compared, and the shape of the spade on the Penguin seals is different from the seal on real decks.
-
You do? I you mind letting a few go?
-
Unfortunately, no, I'm not interested. Sry. Just have in mind the differences between the real and the Penguin Magic seals.

Why fret so much over seal authenticity? If spectators have a hard time even realizing that a Rider Back and a Mandolin Back are not the same, do you honestly think they're going to read the fine print on a deck seal?
Real seals are out there, and they're fairly cheap. Just go buy some! Inauthentic ones that'll pass easily for the real thing are also out there and are probably even cheaper.
BTW, just what is it that you're doing that doesn't require 100 deck seals, but requires about 20-25? Deck seals are always a good tool to have in a magician's bag of tricks.

I'll be using them for what they are supposed to be used for - sealing decks. Sure they are good to keep around, but I doubt I'll need a 100. I'm pretty confident that about a quarter of that amount is good enough for me. Plus, I doubt really have $20 to be spending on 100 quantities of one thing. Think of it as a short term project if you will. Does anyone out there have any?

I would be willing to send you some, but a rider back deck for 20 seals seems a bit unfair to me.
-
I can see your point! What else would you like? I could be able to send you one Black Rider back replacing the original Blue one if you'd like. From what I know, a black rider back is slightly worth more simply because it's not sold individually. If that doesn't satisfy you, what else would you like?

I'm not sure. I'll think about it. Most decks I am looking for are worth much more than the price of 20 seals.
