"Another Bicycle release will be hitting the market in about 2 months-Bicycle Asura Playing Cards. The theme for this deck is based on Asura the Demigod from Chinese and Hindu Mythology. The back of the cards are inspired by the Asura Domain of the Desire Realm which is the origin of the war between the Gods and the Asuras according to the myth.
Production is limited to 2500 decks and we will be stocking this deck. We will post once we have them in stock."

Niceeeeee!
Who is the designer?
-
Love the backs. They remind me of the split spades. The front of the box also looks good
-
I'm not a huge fan of the box art. I love the backs though and the creative ideas flowing through the deck.
-
i like the look of those cards the game is awesome also
-
It says Asura red, will there be other colours?
Anyone got the password to get into the website?
-
The box art looks Karnival Assassins-ish, but the back design is definitely 10x better than the assassins.
-
Here are the 2 side by side...

The "Bicycle" logo coloring is pretty much identical.

And the shape too. Any clues on how to enter the site?

I really like this deck! The design is incredible and the detail is just crazy!
One thing I would have liked to see is more color besides red.
The back design reminds me of the Centurions design.
As for the password on the site.... I'm pretty sure its meant to be there so that we can't get into the site until the release....
Just a guess.

The company "Card Experiment" reminds me of something. Have they already produced a deck? I looked on google... in vain.

It's a ebay seller

You can see in his tagline that he's promoting the deck

It's probably designed by the same guys as the Karnival decks just like the Bicycle Samurai deck was. Perhaps it's from the same people as the Samurai deck?
-
It is possible that it may be designed by the same guy, but it doesn't look like it'll be produced by the same company. What's for sure is that the inspiration is similar.

Umm... how is the inspiration similar? The back designs look nothing alike and we haven't seen the faces to this deck. The box is the only thing similar and it is only slightly similar.

The style seems similar. I don't know how to describe it but it releases a similar feel to me. Also a lot of small designs made out of very fine lines make up most of it. And then the box.

The deck looks amazing! - Although the deck isn't multicolored (which is something I would love), I am a huge fan of the extensive detail put into the box art. : )
-
Looks like they are based in Hong Kong.
-
Ahhhhh..... no....
Completely done with really so many decks at the moment... The hobby is getting a little too over saturated with mediocre, unoriginal decks...
-
i really like the back design and the themes of the deck ..really looking forward to this deck ..
Btw does anyone know the password to the website?

I agree with you on the principle. Completely. However aren't you a bit quick to judge this deck? It doesn't seem "unoriginal" to me. Look at all the detail that went into the deck? And we haven't even seen the faces yet.
-
Perhaps I'm being a bit rough on many of the decks coming out, but I've truly had enough... It does look alright on second look, but I just see a fancier Samurai Deck with a little color and four arms instead of two...

Max has posted some info on this deck at his site, and he asked me to pass it along

Can I say AWESOME!!
-
The card back artwork is pretty interesting, but I'm leaning these days more towards simpler deck styles. "Style" being the operative word. This is a "maybe" for me, largely depending on what it will cost - he is shipping from Hong Kong after all.
-
I will probably pick up a couple of these. The back design is really intricate and looks nice and I really like the box!
-
The artwork is kinda creepy and very different from recent releases. However, I like it, and I might get it depending on price and shipping.
-
I really like the designs too.I am going to get couple of these :-[
-
I like the back design on these but the box design looks like a mix between streetfighter 2 and the bicycle karnival decks. I'm going to have to echo what others have said.....with all the new decks coming out I'm really going to have to think about the price when BMPoker sells these! I've really been contemplating the direction my collection needs to go recently....meaning am I going to shell out the money to get every new deck on the market or am I going to concentrate on certain brands or themes? I guess I'm trying to say is something I never thought I would have to say.....If you take all the decks that are rumored to be in the works and the decks we are just waiting to be released there are too many decks I know I'll purchase to spend the money on these right now or maybe even in the future!
-
True! sooo many new releases in 2012 already...i passed the HOPC deal simply because i thought twice, filled my cart and then thought again : do i really need those decks?i already have spent 600bucks the last two months on cards (yeah international shipping is expensive) only on new released playing cards! lately the market is overwhelmed with releases per month!
-
These deck is now available on their website, along with uncut sheets. Unfortunately I can't get any because Paypal screwed me over and blocked all my credit cards. But I hear the1eyedjack will have these so I will get some from him.
-
Sadly, I'm going to have to pass on these because there are so many other decks coming out that I want :(
