Post by: LauR on November 01, 2012, 04:26:33 AM
Hi guys,

I recently bought a deck of golden nugget cards which I haven't been able to find any info

on and was wondering if you guys could help out with any info you have relating to how old

it is and any other info you might have.

Thanks,

Rob

Well, I know that they aren't the properly rare ones which were made in the 70's or 80's, forgive me if I'm wrong. They are Gemaco's, by the looks of them they might just be from the 80's or the 90's. I'm not too sure...

That's a 90s deck, I'm willing to bet.

Gemaco does a lot of casino deck work, and while the quality wasn't up to USPC standard, it was acceptable for a pack of cards that wasn't meant to last.  The company was bought by USPC in the last decade.  I've only found one really decent Gemaco casino deck, and that was for the House of Blues casino in Atlantic City, courtesy of the1eyedjack.com.
