Hello everyone. I'm new to the forums and wanted to say howdy. My name is Andrea and I'm from Texas. I usually describe myself as: Mom, Cat Butler, Grammar Police, Lego Enthusiast, Card Collector, and Software Engineer.
I write webapps to support clinical research and bioinformatics at the UT Health Science Center. I'm your basic t-shirt and jeans girl who loves chocolate, muscle cars, RPN calculators, Lego minifigs, and cards. My favorite quote is by Harlan Ellison: "The two most common elements in the Universe are Hydrogen...and Stupidity."
I've been collecting cards for several years now. And I have loved playing card games since I was a little girl when my grandmother taught me how to play poker, canasta, euchre, hearts, spades, 31, and crazy 8s.

Welcome aboard. You'll find we're generally a pretty friendly bunch here and we don't (usually) bite... :))
Take a peek at the top of the Playing Card Plethora - there's a topic called the "New Deck Report and Archive" that might be of interest to you. As Alex said, hundreds of reasons to be broke, listed 52 at a time... :))
