Title: Erdnase - Porper clip!

Found this via J P Playing cards facebook page this morning:     http://enigmaltd.com/product/expert-at-the-card-table-porper-clip/

Seemingly sold out in one evening and at a reasonable price. The description suggests that Joe didn't do the leather-work and the company (responsible for the moonshine deck) is based in the UK, so I suppose that there could of been just a few made.

Did anyone get one? What's the story?

I have one ordered!
I speak with Geraint quite often and had a long chat with Lloyd yesterday, the clips were specially made by Joe Porper to have Leather applied, then a leather craftsman (I currently don't know who) applied the leather and the printing on it.
I love the look of these!

It's become a pretty common practice to apply leather or other materials to one of Joe Porper's clips to sell them as a new product.  The Buck twins and David Blaine both have.  The Bucks use the flat-spined model similar to the one this clip was made with, while Blaine uses the "spring spine" that is the Porper clip trademark design, with his "db" logo engraved and painted inside the spine.  Porper himself never applied leather to his clips created for sale, thinking that they wouldn't hold up to repeated use very well.

I didn't know about the fact he thought they wouldn't hold up very well :)
It should be good, I can't get either the D&D or DB clips in the UK without paying a lot of shipping then paying crazy amounts for customs
