I'm steadily closing in on my 10,000th post, making me the first member to hit five digits, so I thought having a contest would be in order.
It's simple - make a post here with the exact date and time, to the second, in Eastern Daylight Time, that you think I'll reach my 10,000th post. You may post once every twenty-four hours - early/excess posts get deleted. You may not post a time that is already posted. Contest ends when my 10,000th post is saved and posted.
The prizes:
Closest guess, over or under, gets an autographed deck of Bicycle Rider Backs from me, color of my choice.
If two people guess correctly, one over and one under, both get the prize.
If th winning choice is within one hour of the 10,000th post, you get a red/blue pair of Walmart "sideways" Bicycle Rider Backs, autographed.
Hit the exact second, I'll throw in a rare deck of my choice from my collection, no autograph, to retain resale/trade value.
In the event of a single winner, I'll hold a random "wild card" sweepstakes drawing for all other players, the winner to receive an autographed Bicycle Rider Back deck, color of my choice.
Winners may get the autograph on the cellophane, on the box or unsigned; winner's choice.

I suppose I should add a rule that for any prediction without a number of seconds following the minute, the default is :00.

I will not be visiting third-world nations. Best I'll be able to manage is a weekend getaway with my wife, since she's starting a new job and has no vacation time accrued there. So it's really a staycation, but I will be making some effort to enjoy what's left of the summer and not stay cooped up - in other words, I will be going into the big blue room with the yellow light on the ceiling with a little more frequency than normal and sleeping more during the hours I would normally be at work... I will still have access to the Internet while on the go, but I'll be less likely to post when enjoying the great urban outdoors that is New York.
I would consider a guess that's missing AM/PM markers to be AM - which, unless the hour was higher than twelve, would be the same as 24-hour military time. I would only accept "00:00" as midnight, and midnight is the START of the next day, meaning that three consecutive minutes would run like this:
Monday 23:59
Tuesday 00:00
Tuesday 00:01
While this would be all out of order, with the second and third times jumping backward to the beginning of the same day as the first, which is at the end of the day:
Monday 23:59
Monday 00:00
Monday 00:01
And for these three guesses, only the first is an actual time, the other two are gibberish:
Monday 23:59
Monday 24:00
Monday 24:01
This is like a sweepstakes contest - multiple entries do NOT negate previous ones but are in addition to, unless the later guess was made less than twenty-four hours from the previous, in which case the latter is not valid. More you enter, more chances to win.

Some additional tips for guessing the right time:
As I've said, I'm on vacation until Fri 6 Sep 23:00 EDT.
My wife started a new job - she goes to bed before 11pm and wakes up a little after 6am on weekdays. She stays up later and sleeps in on weekends.
I'm pretty much on her schedule while I'm on vacation, because she's NOT on vacation.

That's because a) I was away from the keyboard for a weekend and b) Maskedfreakinabox and I were playing post tag for a while last night - "I posted, you're it; now I posted, you're it; etc."
And THIS IS MY 10,000TH POST! I'll have to edit it after I post it to determine the winner.

According to the rules, this means that since there's only one winner with the guesses, the other winner is determined by a random drawing of all the participants - one entry per person. I'll take care of that and post the results in the next post...
BTW: I'm feeling generous, so BOTH winners will receive a WalMart two-deck Rider Back set! For those who don't remember the topic on it (http://aethercards.com/discourse/playing-card-plethora/bicycle-standard-new-box-design/), this is a two-deck set of standard Bicycle Rider Backs made especially for WalMart in late 2011, sold out at some point in early 2012. The cards are 100% standard, but the box is unique - the back of the box has the "Standard" box front on it, while the front of the box has the Bicycle logo printed landscape style to match the color of the deck (red or blue). All the other surfaces of the box are standard in appearance. The sets were cellophane-wrapped with the decks side-by-side, allowing the buyer to see both sides of the deck box - the decks aren't individually wrapped. It's not an exceptionally rare model, but it is unique, was made in limited quantities and has been sold out for roughly a year, making it perfect for the completist collector. Or you can just crack 'em open and play with 'em... :))
John B. - I probably have your address but it would be faster if you gave it to me again via PM and let me know if you want autographs on each unwrapped deck, an autograph on the sealed set or no autograph.
