That's really tough. Progressive rock is my favorite genre so I could be up shit creek on this one.

Too many choices, but off the top of my head, I'd say "Hong Kong Garden" by Siouxsie and the Banshees.

Ok, this thread was actually a joke. Very early yesterday morning Don was at 9,999 post. I had the winning time if he had posted one more time.

In the 70's there was this thing called record players. I had a 45(not the gun) of Queen's "We Will Rock You" that went right into "We Are the Champions"
I would say that is my true 70's favorite.

Nice try...

I used to own an original pressing of Twisted Sister's 45 rpm single of "We're Not Gonna Take It" made BEFORE they had a record contract, when they were still a local band playing rock clubs in the NYC/Long Island area.  They paid a studio for the recording time and had a local record company make the discs for them to promote the band.  (Cassette tapes weren't as common yet and the Walkman was still new and expensive.)  I also had a rare Judas Priest pressing - a 7" single that was 45 rpm on one side with one song and 33-1/3 rpm on the other side with two songs.  Stuff like that was extremely uncommon back in the days of vinyl records...

A friend surprised me once with tickets to a Judas Priest concert.  I'd been having a rough week, very tired, didn't even know the surprise until I reached the stadium.

I was asleep before the end of the second song...slept through the whole show.

I guess I was really tired...
