Another colour for the floral deck to add to their red and black. The following information is taken from their website...
"Purple Floral Deck Coming soon.
I feel so pleased to inform you that we will launch the first self-defined card project in 2013 - Greap Purple Floeal deck.
In the work of 2012, we have achieved a great success. Thank you for your support of Aloys Studio.
Purple Floral deck is designed and modified by Yolanda. The small changes are reflected in the Tuck case and the color.
These decks will be launched at 8:00pm (EST) on September 27 (next Saturday).
Most decks have been sold out. We just keep 432 decks for sales in out shop.
The Floral Decks will have the following features:
*100% custom artwork ( more than 1800 hours spent on the design )
*Metallic ink on Tuckbox, backs, and faces
*Thick tuck paper
*Custom deck seal
*Printed metallic color on the inside and outside of the tuck
We will offer huge privilege for you in this new project.
Retail price: 12.95USD per deck
15% discount for purchase of 6 decks
20% discount for purchase of 12 decks
The discount will be valid within 20 hours.
In addition, our studio has released a luxury Up pad .
The product is made of authentic Italian cowhide and authentic silk velvet.
The front silk velvet will ensure that the magicians can perform card, coin, cup, ball and other micromagic smoothly.
Placed on the table, the back cowhide can effectively prevent skidding to ensure the successful performance.
This product is produced completely by hand with high quality and without any visible thread residue and joint on the surface. With a perfect appearance, it will be a special accessory loved by the magicians.
If you buy our new decks worth at least 280USD, we will give a luxury Up pad for you as a gift. We only provide 10 Up-pads."

Your grammar is no worse than theirs...
So, they have "up pads" - are those iPads that don't go down? :)) 'Cause to me, they look a lot more like CLOSE-up pads... At least the come without "any visible thread residue"...yeah, I hate when my threads leave behind that residue, it makes everything all sticky...
"Greap Purple"? I've heard of Deep Purple, even the Indigo Girls, but "Greap Purple"? Oh, that's supposed to be "GREEN Purple", as in the two colors of the boxes... Yeesh...
-
"Up pad" hahaha
But maybe it's supposed to be "Grape Purple"? Looks kinda like it could be as well. Maybe green and purple since they're showing a green deck too.

The sad thing is, they will probably sell out within the hour. Marketing at its best.

Only if you fall for it. I haven't bought a single Floral deck, though I have gone through their site to get the Truth Garden decks.

Neither have i, but we represent an insignificant portion of the whole collector population. I bet if they released an orange version and limited it to 20 decks priced at 100$ a pop they'd go instantly.
-
I didn't even receive my 04 truth garden decks, even after contacting them many many times. Ended up with a paypal dispute they didn't bother trying to defend. Besides that, these decks don't appeal at all. Will pass :)

...earning $2,000 on a deck that costs at least $7,000-8,000 to make...

I mean for the International market. They obviously sell the bulk of it in their domestic market which hardly ever escape the country. Regardless, my point wasnt for you to test my mathematics but to stress that 'limited quantity' is one of the paramount deciding factor in selling 'rare' decks. =)

The only deck I have from Aloys is the Red Floral deck that I snagged off of eBay for relatively cheap. I like the design of this deck, just don't want to stress over trying to get every color at really high prices.

Hey, guys. Long time no see.
I've stopped by to warn you about Aloys, but apparently I wasn't the only one who had the problem:
I didn't even receive my 04 truth garden decks, even after contacting them many many times. Ended up with a paypal dispute they didn't bother trying to defend. Besides that, these decks don't appeal at all. Will pass :)
I also have never received my 03 Truth Garden decks. I ordered a brick.
Jessica from aloysstudio doesn't reply to my emails, which is a even worse symptom.
In short, I advise you guys to stay away from Aloys.
Kind regards,

The worst part was getting in an infinite loop of sending emails:
* Email Jessica with all information regarding the order and she asks you to contact the email used on the paypal
* Email that person and they say they don't handle any of this so you need to contact Jessica
* Email her back and she doesn't respond.
* Send an Email a week later to Jessica and it's as if you've never sent one in the first place.

Wow. Just wow. Again, decks like this make me happy I stopped buying new cards. I shouldn't be, but I am.
