Title: Harry Wastrack -- New to the Forum

Hi,

I'm Harry Wastrack.  Members of 52 Plus Joker would know me as the past club president, frequent contributor to the club newsletter "Clear the Decks," and a familiar face at the 52 Plus Joker conventions.  I live in Northern Virginia (the D.C. Area).

I don't do cardistry, or so little it barely counts, and I don't do magic, or so badly it barely counts.  But I do love playing cards and collecting playing cards.  I have written several playing card price guides and the book "The Essential Hand & Foot" which explains how to play a card game called Hand & Foot, an edgier version of Canasta.

I hope to be a more familiar presence on the Forum.

Welcome, Harry - it was a pleasure to meet you at the forum!

I'm going to have to get a hold of some of those wicked-cool protective sleeves you have for uncut sheets.  I plan to post some around my home and they're idea for protecting my collection, whether on display or in storage.  Rolled in a tube just isn't a good long-term solution.

Welcome to the forum. The plastic display is a great idea. Just snagged your book. I've never played Hand and Foot, something new for me to have some fun with.  :)

Welcome to the forum Harry. I'm just down the road from you in Fredericksburg. I don't know if there is any other members near us, but we should get together and play some cards some time.
