Awesome... Now that the LTD isn't selling for $100 anymore and you can pick them up for $20 there's a blue version... Just what I've always wanted... At least it will go with my eyes... When this one reaches $20, they should release a brown LTD deck to represent what this recoloring fad actually is... Did everyone get it??? $#!T... Wow a new color... "I really need this at all costs to complete my collection..."  Please... I've really had enough of this, now common, lazy way to release a new deck and demand additional $ without doing anything at all except for pushing a button...

where are you finding red LTD decks for 20 bucks?

also, as a matter of principle, I'm only going to buy the blue LTD deck if they change the name to Blue unLTD deck

shipping costs make this not that great of a deal if you're just getting the green crown deck, but it is a great opportunity to get one for essentially free if you're already planning on buying something else

well I open quite a bit of my cards, and I thought they looked really cool. It can be confusing if you're trying to quickly distinguish between cards, but just based on looks alone it was interesting and something that I don't think I've seen done quite like that before. I gave it points for originality and because it looks nice, and I'm all for new ideas in designing cards. Even though I agree with what you said, I don't think it's enough to give worst faces of the year or anywhere close to that!

this is a pretty great deal if you're looking for multiple coterie bee decks and don't own any yet (aka me). Unfortunately I don't have the money right now to get this, but if I did I probably would. I will say that I don't really get the fervor over needing a rare seal on an unchanged deck from the original. A different tuck box is one thing, and even then I don't really care all that much, but it's really just a different seal and nothing else unchanged. Oh well.

I do like the look of the deck and hopefully I'll get some soon

Guess I will be expecting mine in the mail sometime this week. So they don't handle as awesome as the previous split spades?

do you have white lions series b? that's how they handle. I dont have the first SS decks so I dont know if thats better or worse

if you've got an hour to kill, this video could save your life (figuratively). Also, both speakers in this video deliver fairly entertaining speeches, so on top of it being informative it's also pretty fun to watch.

got mine today, and I have to say that this deck has lived up to any hype/expectations that it had. You really have to see the deck in person to appreciate the design. I'd describe it as somewhat like the ornate deck in terms of detail, but much more subtle which is a good thing. I really like the design on the ornate decks but it can be a bit over the top, so this amount of detail done in a way that isn't quite so loud is refreshing. The tuck box has to be one of the best I've seen, and the cutout in the back + the back design shown through it looks sick.

Twelve bucks a deck is a bit steep but it really is an amazing deck. One thing I was somewhat worried about was the handling, but the deck handles great as well. Seems like bee stock + magic finish, which is a great combo. I was worried because while I love the tendril deck design, for whatever reason it never handled that great. Maybe the stock + large amounts of ink is the reason, but whatever the reason it felt kinda cheap. For this deck though, handling is as good as any deck I own and overall I think the deck lives up to its price tag.

consider this my deck review because I don't really do videos. Bottom line, f you can afford it, get it.

got mine today as well. they handle almost identically to white lions series b, which is more or less the same as standard bicycle handling. The design + metallic ink looks dope as hell. I got 4 decks in total but I kinda wish I got some more at 3 bucks each . Overall a very sweet deck.

Luckily, I don't have a gun to my head, therefore I don't purchase everything I see.

I see nothing wrong with E selling the membership for $150. Too expensive for you? Don't buy it. You are not entitled anything.

it's just really annoying, especially since, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, that this is the one deck that I've been wanting to see for quite some time. Then I find out it'll cost me that kind of money to own and it's really just a huge letdown for me. I probably would've gotten quite a few of these decks but now I might never get one.

Black Centurions and Wynns go for over 20 bucks pretty regularly.
Wynns are not T11 decks :P

well they were sold by them but we're really just arguing semantics and I totally agree with the point you were making anyway. I haven't bought a T11 deck since red Jaqks (surpirse, not created by them) and a lot of what they've been putting out this year is snoozeland boring

some people are already selling the deck on ebay for more than the entire black club bundle is going for

smh

if you don't count the jaqk deck (which isn't their design) or players deck (which is really just a copy of the david blaine court card concept), T11 has released one (1) deck with custom court cards that weren't just a recoloring. Given the frequency with which they've been releasing decks, I don't expect we'll be seeing original custom court cards from them for a long time, if ever. Unless I'm missing a deck, but w/e. T11 hasn't exactly been the most original company when it comes to designing cards, and really they're just getting by on their name alone at this point, imo. Hopefully they do something truly interesting with a design soon and break this streak of underwhelming decks.

is there any way to get a shipping # from my order info?

Your order might not have shipped yet, I haven't gotten everything out. When your order ships, you'll get an email and that wil have the tracking info in it.

If you can tell me your order number, I can let you know the status but everything should be shipped in the next 2 days.

just got an email, can't wait to get them

I wouldn't say "ugly" so much as "uninspired", but I agree that artifice v1 was much better looking and ultimately impractical for magic, while sultans were just not that great of a design

I may be biased though since the borderless artifice is one of my favorite back designs. might also explain why im so pissed about black artifice being "members only"

Playing Card Plethora / Re: New YEllow - Shine Yellow Verve - HOPC
« on: November 24, 2012, 04:26:33 PM »
out of all 3, yellow looks the worst. I only had red so I picked up a deck of the blue since they're on sale. Also, in case anyone missed it, the ornate sapphire deck is back in stock. I actually only have the scarlet version of those too since I found a pretty decent deal on ebay, but I've been looking for a good sapphire deal for a while and this is about as good a deal as you'll ever get on those decks if you're still looking for them.

As far as verve yellow, maybe at a later date. I don't think I would've even considered ordering from HOPC if the "deals" on a lot of other sites weren't so piss poor, but this is how it ended up and I'm definitely not disappointed with how it turned out. Been looking to get these two decks for a while so I'm pretty happy.
