Playing Card Plethora / Re: new D+M deck - Madison Hustler
« on: May 14, 2014, 11:20:22 PM »

I now look forward to seeing further iterations of this series of decks with 'badass' names purely to see the lazy design. We could have a brainstorming session for Dan. If we're thinking of gambling related names I can think of: Folders, Splitters, Shufflers, and Floppers.

Flingers
Tossers
Flippers
Fanners
Spreaders
One-Armed Bandits
...and while we're at it, Bandits without an arm count
Bouncers
Waiters
Waitresses
Waitrons (for when you just can't tell the difference or a 'droid is serving you)
Boilers
Boilermakers
Markers
Fingerbreakers (told you not to bring marked cards...)
Knuckledraggers (for when Fingerbreakers just aren't enough)
Coolers
Heaters
Drinkers
Drunkers
Elvis Impersonators
French Ticklers (no such thing as a bad idea in a brainstorm, right?  Bring a raincoat...)
Bankers
Cheaters
Spinners

Shall I go on?  :))
Bartenders,Tricksters,Cheaters, XCMers, Flourishers... is Hookers could be in Casino too  :-\

I don't see the lucky old guy, strippers, or pole dancers?

Just figured I would give this a bump since I think a lot of people are/have received theirs. I really would love to make a trade for one of these bad boys.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/washington-sues-ed-nash-kickstarter-campaign-173707149.html

The cards are stacked against a Nashville, Tenn., entrepreneur who allegedly failed to deliver on promises he made to backers of his successful Kickstarter campaign.

In a lawsuit filed May 1, Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson claims Edward J. Polchlepk III (professionally known as Ed Nash) never delivered the horror-themed deck of playing cards he promised to hundreds of campaign supporters. Nash ran the campaign under his company, Altius Management, which is described as an entertainment and artist management firm.

more info if you click the link. But hey it looks like someone finally is getting sued for not sending rewards out. anyone here back this project?

Incase anyone was wondering, tofu is not my favorite thing to eat but I have had worse.

I know a little about cardistry and some of the moves I try learning with out being taught I could see this helping me.

But what if instead, you took a pack of Bikes and glued or taped it into little packets the size of these things?  Not as pretty, but more realistic in terms of the weight and feel of the cards.  But like I said, I'm no cardist.

and I am lazy. I dont care about cardistry to glue them or buy these. Just saying they look like they could help.

Hey so I missed out on this deck, and it was one of the few decks that I was actually hoping to get. I am looking to trade, I have vortex decks, Apocalyptica decks, a black crown, and a fanastique deck. Wiling to trade multiple decks for this deck. If interested please let me know. Shipping from the United states.

UPDATE: I also have the sherlock holmes decks available, I have one of each if you missed a couple of them and would be interested in the trade.

I open everyone. I mean the tuck can look nice but there are 56 pieces of art in there I am not seeing. I keep them nice when I open them but I dont see a reason to keep them sealed other then re-sale.

Yea so then I either have to make it in advance or plan a date around that. But it does sound good and I might try it (maybe without the tofu if its not for a date) and it seems like a good chili recipe.

Yea I always see it in some kind of asian food, but she does not like asian (I know whats wrong with her?!?) and so I am trying to find other styles that might appeal to her. Plus I figure if I do find some awesome ways to make it I wont mind having to eat it with her more often. Technically I could just eat meat, but then its no longer sharing a meal, and is 2 different meals.

Don, sounds nice I might have to try it. Though 3 hours is a long make time.

Because it doesn't have a particularly strong flavour you can put it in most things for some protein. There's a lot of different types out there is there one in particular you prefer?
I personally dont generally eat tofu, but since she is a vegetarian I told her I would try it. And I figured if this goes well I might want to do it again. and since she does not eat meat I would have to have tofu recipes.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing if this guy has an interest in math, or whether it's more the intricate patterns that's drawn him to this design.

Did LSD fuel his art? lol Looks kinda cool but not my thing

Shit, how did I not see this post earlier, I really would love to get my hands on this. I actually have a friend in the army who recently asked me to find one of these for him. Looks like my search was easier then I thought.

Don't suppose there's any chance of calling dibs on particular numbers?

That was a great joke!  Love it!

I have less then that available to spend till my next check. So unless Paul take IOUs I wont be able to.

Beg or borrow.  The aftermarket price will likely be multiples higher.  Either that, or live without - I hear rumor that it's possible...  :))

For this deck I almost would but no quite that desperate for it. people would look at me different if I did that. :)

Though I am putting it out there if anyone here gets an extra one that they would be interested in trading please PM me. I have a few decks that I would be willing to trade for this deck.

So paul what the price on this deck? I want to know if I have enough for it so that I will try to get one of them. I missed the forum only ones though. Some things (like a first date) get in the way of my collection.

also not to get off topic, but I had my deco deck (blue) with me and she thought it was beautiful. So you have another fan of your artwork paul.

Glad your lady friend liked Deco, that's pretty high praise. Hanging with a nice girl is probably more important than getting a deck of cards.  :D   to answer your main question, Zenith will be $20.

Dang nab it, I will have to try to get this in the after market then.
