There was also a strange effect he had where he could make the word being guessed appear on the subject's body, usually an arm.  That should also be selling at E.
Thanks! Do you have any idea what that was called?

I think he is talking about tagged. I know a few good books but dont have time to find out their titles for you at the moment, so sometime today I will share them here.

Design & Development / Re: The Discourse Deck
« on: December 30, 2013, 10:24:36 AM »
I'm with you John, the UC deck was beautiful but something that had it's own personality would open it up to producing an annual themed deck.  'Discourse branded' in the style of bicycle to tie them together maybe

Although I love the Bicycle brand, IMO the worst thing you could do to make a deck stand out would be to brand it Bicycle. I will get plenty of heat, but... there it is. You want someone to buy your deck because it is excellent not because they buy everything that bike makes.

"awakin CBJ"

I don't think it should be bicycle. People who see it will see it as another off the shelf deck. With no branding ( or maybe Discourse instead of bicycle?)  it stands out more.

Personally I did not like how the UC deck was just for promotion. Imo unless you knew who they were and wanted to promote them it was ehh. I like the idea of the 2 decks, one modern one vintage. Maybe take the same design and just tweak it to a more vintage style, or make one vintage and tweak it to be more modern. I would say just have one or 2 designers design it and have one person run the kickstarter project. I dont know if any of us live in the same general area but if so we could join up to help with the packaging and shipping.

So I am looking to sell or possibly trade this. Ellusionist and Penguin both sell this for $199 and the accessory kit is $15 on penguin, $20 at ellusionist. I am selling them together for $175, not including shipping (look below). It is still new, I opened it watched the dvd and played around with the gimmick a bit and realized it was not for me. If you have magic books or dvds your interested in trading let me know I am always interested in expanding my collection.

And Don hope I get all the info you want us to post here.
I am John Bruckerhoff and you can contact here via PM. Payment will be accepted through paypal only.
I will be shipping from the United states, am willing to ship internationally only is you have a positive trade reputation on here.
If you live in the United states Shipping will be $15 and I will get insurance for the total cost and tracking If international we will have to see how much it cost to ship to your country.

Feel free to ask any questions on this thread.

I spent it being the but of the jokes at the dinner table and then because I was not jumping for joy at my gifts I got told how I was un-appreciative and got into an argument with my dad that ended with my leaving and my mom feeling like crap thinking I was mad at her. Just the usual.

I've had worse.  It's never fun.

Remember that we're all imperfect beings.  For some, they'll never really try to improve or even notice there's something not quite right in how they live.  For others, life is a quest to be a better person - still imperfect, but improved from the day before.  Become calm in your mind and spirit, try to understand the people around you, and live in THIS moment, right now.  Fretting over the past doesn't change it one bit, so it doesn't really help you - you can learn to let it go, to simply acknowledge that this event occurred and not linger on the bad feelings it left you with.  Worrying about the future is not good for you, either - there's no real way of knowing exactly what the future holds, and predicting terrible possible futures is not much more accurate than using a dart board to predict the future.  (I usually tell people that I left my crystal ball in my other pants...  :)) )

For the holidays, and for the rest of your life, be prepared to forgive those people around you - and remember to include yourself in that group, too.  People get so depressed when they're unable to do these simple yet difficult things.  Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt - learned how to stop going back.

this is what you get when you tell a buddist that life sucks.

Dude I would have done the same thing, honestly I might have goten the e-mail, I trash most of them cause I just dont care as much as I use to. When I get info from club 808 I don't think I am suppose to since the articles and new deck information is a members only thing, but I do.

you have a negative 41 rep, that does not happen because you post informative good post, that happens when you bitch and complain because a business does what a business does.
