So how do the new pips look like? I like the new back design, but I wasn't a big fan of the first card faces, looked more like a children's card game to me. Do you have more pics?
So, your printer is in Mexico? Who's doing the work for you?
"Hecho en Mexico" does mean "made in Mexico" in Spanish, after all...

$14.95 each deck maybe... could be more...
For me video is a good way to have a look of the printed cards, especially the colour variation of the deck.
I was pretty disappointed with 1 project which was fulfilled recently. On the campaign the tuck and back colour look much deeper then the actual cards. so that was a let down..
Didn't another deck company just put out an Expert deck? T11 or E or something?
Everyone should get ready for my new Expert at the Card Table, Steampunk themed, Zombie Minimalist deck. The courts will be my friends that none of you have ever heard of, but UNDEAD, how novel and original! AMIRITE?
Someone didn't proofread this card... "It would be of criminal nature to presume that Dai Vernon might require a moments introduction." "It would be of criminal nature to presume" doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, though technically it's correct - "It would be criminal to presume" makes a lot more sense. But "a moments introduction" is just plain WRONG. It's supposed to be "a moment's introduction," because the introduction belongs to the moment - singular possessive form, not plural.
Seems they don't hold Dai Vernon in high enough regard to hire a proofreader...
Not including a video is not a bad thing, I wouldn't even worry about that, if you have a good design it will speak for itself.
Including a video can be (is) a great way to promote your deck, something with quality and purpose.
Adding a bad video is like attacking me personally and can kill a project.
Stay away from that last one.
Interesting reason to go with USPCC. Minimum print runs, price per deck, etc etc would probably be good things to consider. But hey whatever works for a reason is a workable reason, kind of funny, but a reason none the less.
Wait, I need to make sure I understand you before I can answer your question: you think that every deck with a custom back and standard faces are the same from a design perspective?
These days, most card campaign videos are a waste of time. If you can't do something with polish and professionalism, it's often not worth doing anything at all. Uusi and Emmanuel Jose did some rocking videos for their more recent campaigns. But if all you're going to do is play loud music and show cardistry moves, or worse, show animated video of card renders and play some craptacular royalty-free background music, save the time and effort and just make the cards.
If that's Mexican Independence Day, then what's "Cinco de Mayo" (the 5th of May) - besides my mother's birthday, of course...
Not even flashy for a cardistry deck like the Virtuoso deck - that's a cardistry deck, this is a vanity project.
I really like Chase Duncan, he is an incredibly talented flourisher, but I am a little disappointed by this deck, it doesn't have any of the design style (Flame away flameo) of his buddy Zach's deck.
I didn't think it would be, but yes - it's an improvement. It really looks more interesting, and in a good way.
Looking much better than the earlier back design.
The blanket as card back has a small plus - and a big minus. The small plus is that it's colorful. The big minus is that it's boring as far as patterns go. Nothing but stripes.
