Really don;t quite understand why the unbranded is sooooo expensive... I get all the other 9 decks (including a branded white reserve note) for around $250, really want one to finish the collection, but 380+ is really too high...

You may find the 9 decks for $250 or so, but if your looking to purchase the complete set, I've seen them go for as high $750+.  So it does make sense that the one black unbranded reserve will fetch $400 or more.

One of my sets has consecutive numbers (#10/####) for all 10 decks.  My black unbranded reserve is labelled 010/500 PRIVATE RESERVE, where as my other black reserve is labelled 0750/1000 BLACK RESERVE NOTE. 

Not sure if if JR produced 1,500 in total or anything under 500 was labelled private reserve and anything over 500 was #/1000.

I would agree that the trade talk probably should have been kept private, but your admission that you overpriced an item to bring more attention to your other sales does not set well with me. For that alone I would never buy an item from you. I'm not sure what your idea of "priced to sell" is, but all your items look overpriced to me.

Personally, I do think anyone saying they overpriced an item to attract buyers is a low blow.  I mean, I have listed items that I want a certain value for, and if they never sell due to that reason alone then that's something I can live with because I am in no hurry to sell any of my rare decks.  Just put them out there for people to know it's available, most have options for offers...

I did want others to know that your deck was available for trade against a Microsoft deck that you previously inquired about.  I'm sorry if you feel that our conversation should've been kept quite, but look at the discussion that became of it.  I personally wouldn't feel any shame or anger if someone mention about a deck I was "willing" to sell or let go in a trade.  Listing a disclosed price on the other hand would be my issue.

Sorry if I offended you by saying your price is or was an overkill....  But common, $1000.00 for a deck!!!  Not sure if your intention was to attract buyers or make them laugh...

I have so many interests from people that want me to pull it and sell to them privately.  The deck is a hot item these days.  Who knew...!

I had three of them. Sold one privately and this one on eBay.  If this one does extremely well I might just sell my own from my collection depending on price.

According to the IMDb movie info, this is what was posted about the cards used.
"All of the playing cards used are manufactured by the United States Playing Card Company. The brands shown are Aristocrat (very hard to come by), Bee, Bicycle, and Tally-Ho (which is primarily available in the New York City/Long Island area). The USPC also created special decks of casino grade Aristocrat SHADE cards with the film logo as a gift to writer/director Damian Nieman"

I know they use alot of different decks in the movie.

You mention that the decks E uses and ships with for the Phantom Display are common, but they also mention the following;
Note: our thanks to Shade for starring in the Phantom video. Please also note that Shade's ring is not avaiable for sale, nor the Shade deck which is one of 100 from the movie "Shade".

If you watch the demo video, you can clearly see the deck and design of the cards used to promote the product.

Don't lose all hope my friend.  I ordered a deck from a Portugal eBayer into Canada and it took a lot longer then expected.  I initially thought the same as you, they lost it at the sort facility.

You will get your order sooner or later. 

Remember, the mail never fails.  When you think "Oh good, at least that bill never came."  What happens, it comes. 

Keep your spirits up and don't let the post offices keep you from ordering in the future.  I have done numerous purchases from eBay, Magic Shops (Worldwide), Forum Users and have always got my decks or products.

And lastly, if truly you have not received your package, most major companies (eBay, PayPal) will refund or re-send your item(s) at no cost.
