My mistake - you were in the wrong place!  STISO boards are for sales/trades from person to person, in general, and there's prerequisites.  I'll move this to the Plethora, out of the STISO.

On the topic of the case itself, it looks like it would be nice sitting on the table of a man-cave, but it doesn't look as practical for carrying purposes.  The two lids would slip apart if I simply tossed this in my bag, wouldn't they?

Thanks for moving the thread.  :)    As far as the the fit of the two halves, they are snug and have a friction fit designed in.  The walls are tapered by 1 degree  which allows for a tightening as the halves are closed. The molds were milled using a CNC mill so the tolerance is very controlled in that area.  Also the thickness of the walls are controlled by the physics of controlled pressures and fabric thickness. As such it is not a ball and detent or latch or anything but it does have a functional amount of friction.

It is very true though that this would be a great addition to any mancave and the idea was conceived with that in mind.

I may have posted in the wrong place, if so it was unintentional.

Here is our kickstarter project to get these carbon fiber card cases brought to life.  This is a high end case to be used with your most cherished decks.  Please share the project with anyone you know who would appreciate the item.   Thanks
