I hope that I am in the right section of the forum; I need some expert eyes I think. My wife bought me a deck of cards from an Antique Store about 15 years ago. They came in this beautiful Silver Case. The deck is obviously very worn, and all of the identifiable information is basically rubbed off. I've tried to research the back design and Joker. The Joker resembles a US2e (?) I guess I would just like any information that anyone might have on this deck! Also the case if possible! Thanks, Lee.

I'm one of the Lucky Recipients of two pieces of Ryan Jones' fantastic artwork! One is a Beautiful, Brass sliding card case detailed after the Onida Deck by Nick Vlow. Ryan made this for me when I showed him one of my own antique Sterling Silver Cases featuring a Woman holding onto a sled. The other is a "Shipping Crate" that houses two decks of Capitalists by Untied States, complete w/ decals. No details were left out. Ryan is a true artist!

I use a spreadsheet. I include the brand, a Brief Description of the Deck, the year made if I know it, opened or unopened, and a couple other columns. It is over 300 pages long, very interesting to look at. At the bottom of the spreadsheet it keeps three totals for me: Total Number of Decks, Total Number of Opened Decks, & Total Number of Unopened Decks. I also save the list on two flash sticks just incase something happens...

My collection is rather large, so in order to show off everything, I took over a bedroom. It is covered floor to ceiling. See my pics... these are earlier displays, I change it up constantly.

Hello! I'm so glad to have become a member of this Amazing Group! I've thought about it for years, and finally got my feet wet!
My Name is Lee Donelson. I live in Fountain, Colorado. I am a Card Collector. I have been collecting Playing Cards for 29 years! I bought my first deck when I was 12 years old. It is an Altenburg-Stralsunder Deck from West Germany. It is a portrait of Prince Charles & Princess Diana on their wedding day. Since then, I have collected nearly 4,000 decks of different cards; very few duplicates. Besides C
collecting cards, I also collect anything, and everything with cards or suits on it, from toothpicks & napkins to guitars & Whiskey bottles. That's a very brief overview of me, I would love to answer any questions for you, share pictures, and just talk!
