I love a deck with a story. On its own, Vitreous is a beautifully designed deck. But that’s just the beginning. This offering from jeremy Griffith is inspired by his late father and is a classy tribute to a clearly influential man.

I picked up 6 decks from the "Not So Perfect" sale and this was the one I was most excited to open up. Bruce Lee Playing Cards. Definitely mixed on this deck by the end. It's obviously a tribute to the legendary martial artist and features a unique (for cards) color scheme that I can really get behind. Hope you enjoy...please suggest other decks to try out!

It's Art of Play's newest deck - The Standards! It's a nod to the opulence of 19th century England but also a satire into the history of the Gold Standard. The touches in this are outstanding. And if you're a fan of Kevin Cantrell's design work (Tavern on the Green, Unions, Tom's Town), you won't be disappointed. This is some of his best work.

This one was recommended to me and proved to be a pretty interesting deck! It's a marked deck with lots of goodies to uncover. It's definitely more utilitarian for magic and performance than it is for cardistry or even the art of collecting, so be aware of that going in. In any case, worth checking out! This one is another bit of a throwback to the Three Little Pigs Playing cards from Pure Imagination Projects. It was a failed Kickstarter that made it live anyway with a limited run of 2500 decks. I picked one up and honestly I really like the style of the deck! Super nice aces especially.

I'm no Magic Orthodoxy (yet), but that guy inspired me to contribute my thoughts to the community! I've started a YouTube channel - The Card Guy - to do deck reviews. I'll be mixing in some newer and older decks - from Kickstarter to CVS Bike decks and some higher end decks as I go.

Introduce Yourself / Intro from a fellow collector

Hello all!
My name is Tim and I'm a relatively new collector from Texas (USA). I only took up the hobby a few months ago after seeing the Pressers deck on Ellusionist. It's spiraling out pretty fast for me now!

I'm primarily a card collector (although I have a rule about being willing to open/use every single deck I purchase). Big fan of full custom decks like Kings Wild Tigers or The Ultimate Deck. I'm also into some very light cardistry, although my skills are nothing to write home about.
