Just updated my deck collection on my Youtube Channel!

The link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0bvBjsMvIs&feature=youtu.be

The actual collection starts around 2:30

The video...  It's over TWENTY-TWO MINUTES long...  I could tour a museum in less time!  :))

I know I know. It took me over 3hrs to set up so I wanted to be thorough.

Playing Card Plethora / Re: Question on Modern Decks

As value goes, sometimes I make a purchase because I know I'll never be able to get that deal again. For example when I got the chance to purchase nearly fifty decks of JAQK playing cards for a little over $225, I knew that I would never have this opportunity again, and since it's my all time favorite deck, I just had to.

Jackson hasn't stopped designing decks.  If you like his designs, just wait for the next one. Given that he hasn't stopped designing decks, and in fact, comes out with a lot of new decks all the time, which you can buy for $10-20 per deck, you have to wonder why anybody would spend multiples of this for the older decks.  Are his newer decks worse, somehow?   For that matter, if you don't want to wait, and don't want to spend even $10 for one of his decks, just buy one of the Civil War decks he designed for USPC.  $4 each.

I understand, and I plan on it. It just sucks that I won't be able to get the entire collection of Fed 52 cards anytime soon, especially since I almost had them for next to nothing.

I used to be a big collector, and the thing I still regret the most is stopping right around the time Jackson Robinson started. I remember pledging for a brick or so of mixed of Federal 52 playing cards, and backing out because I told myself I was going to stop. Now trying to get back into collecting, I'm kicking myself for not getting these decks when I had the chance.

I wouldn't put the pips in the bubbles. I thought that 5 of clubs had only 3 pips for the longest time.

Thanks for all the support guys, it really means a lot!

Also, I almost backed Exploding Kittens but sadly forgot to. Oh well.

This summer my friend and I will see what we can do to try to make a deck of cards everyone will love!

PS: bro, you're still the guy ranked 7th on "Most Posts" and 9th on "Most Time Online!"

Whoah, that's CRAZY. I'm glad to know left a legacy somewhere in my life :P

1) You don't have to buy the latest and greatest decks to be part of the conversation.
2) Never say never - that deck may yet come to fruition.

1) Yeah I know, but the more time I spend on here, the more money I want to spend. I still have an issue with self control which is why I stopped cold turkey  :karrit:

2) It's just that my plans with stuff like this always get pushed back and never completed. Also, the deck I want to make is very simple and I wanted to make it look like a vintage Jerry-esque deck of cards, and I feel like a deck that simple would never get a ton of funding on Kickstarter due to the thousands of other minimalist and simplistic decks.

VERY Jealous of the V1s, great get!

Thank you! I was searching for these forever, and finally found a great deal (so I bought them all  ;D).

So does this post mark your triumphant return?  :))

Honestly Don, I'm not sure. College and textbooks are a thing, as well as a new engine for my car (probably just a new car) , so that is where my money is mainly going. I found this opportunity to make this purchase and decided to splurge.

That in mind however, I'm planning on possibly designing a deck of cards this summer with one of my buddies, with the hopes of getting it backed on Kickstarter.

Will it come to fruition? Most likely not.

Just because I stopped collecting for three years, doesn't mean I can't get back into it.....

The Conversation Parlor / Re: I miss you guys.

Hello everyone, this is crazy to see everyone on here again, and I'm glad to see I'm still ranked within' the top ten of the post count! I remember becoming an active member on here towards the beginning of my sophomore year of high school, and now this Saturday I'm going to graduate. It's crazy to see how the years have just flown by.

I really do miss being the active member I once was, but my collection addiction starting costing me too much to the point where I realized it was best just to stop altogether. It was difficult, but it had to be done. Now I still love cards, and all the art, but for now I'm just going to continue to be a window shopper.

I still admire my collection, and play with my cards every day. I also plan on eventually releasing my own deck with my good friend (just something I've wanted to do for a few years now), and maybe someday my dream will become  true and I will have a deck produced by the great USPCC.

Don't think I've forgotten about you guys, I still check in from time to time to see how everyone is doing and to see the status of the forum, and to see all the new decks being produced.

Well that's all for now, but I want to stop by from time to see how everyone is doing, and just to keep in touch.

Again, I miss you guys, see you sometime soon!

USPC isn't as great as it once was - you should check out Expert PCC and Legends PCC, especially if you're planning to design something of your own.

I know its not but its one of those things where, I've always wanted to print a deck at USPCC because of their reputation among common people and their history. Sure I could print a deck (probably cheaper, and maybe even better quality) elsewhere, but in my mind I still have a huge preference towards USPCC, especially since that's where 97% of the decks in my collection were made.

I really enjoy the tuck a lot, but other then that I couldn't care less.

19
I got a sealed Multimiller Gargoyle Expo Deck for a total price of $1 on eBay. I was pretty happy about that.

20
Shall I make another?

Still a better chance in being released then Harlequin.....

21
I've been trying to cut-back majorly on buying cards, but when they said they were in te archives, I quickly picked one up. All I paid was about $5 for shipping, which I'm more then happy with.

Could someone please make a deck back mock-up with all three of the concepts (with steam punk elements included :P)

23
Blaine wins for me. I love the back design, and I think the boxes are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Also, the series A jokers are te best I've ever seen!

At the bottom of each USPCC uncut, it has the date which it was printed. If anyone purchased this item, please let us know the date so we know if this is a prototype from years back, or just a new scheme.

As I was searching for new deck ideas I'm glad I came across this thread:  Lovecraft Zombies with Steampunk body parts which were applied to them while they were once alive and working in a circus, but as it has been many years since the outbreak most are just skeleton and sinue.  Is that the deck you are looking for next?   ;)

Don't forget the Cthulhu!
