I am now having 115 decks with different design.
Haven't count the duplicates yet. The numbers of those are changing almost everyday.

And unlike some of you, that does not include a brick of this and a brick of that, if anything there is like a max of 2 decks of any kind, but only a few. I saw that video. Great collection. Too bad you don't have some of the rarer decks as well as the second color for some decks.
As for me, without counting the few decks I have a brick of, I have 200 decks. Am selling some though  haha.

Yes, that's actually a fast-growing collection.  Keep up that pace and you'll outstrip my collection in about a year or so.

Well considering I got about 44 decks in today, and although they are multiples of eachother (really only 4 different decks, but I needed to order multiples for discounts, and in the case of the Mana deck, shipping) I have just passed over the 200 deck mark.

I don't have many myself, but I have a few... Why don't you talk to your "Sponsor" and see if he'll cut you a deal on some bricks... That way you don't have to be so upset... Your words reek of jealousy... Enough already...

Not wanting to turn this into a full-scale debate but:
1) I don't think he has a sponsor yet
2) I don't think he was aiming at anyone when he was talking about a brick. I think he just meant he had 500 different decks without counting multiples.

Almost all were unique (in the sense that there were 3-4 different colors of one casino were still different). They were used but in good condition and got them for a steal. It's not a stretch to think others haven't come across these occasional auctions of cards.

I didn't see his comments as a put-down.  A little bragging, perhaps, but that's kinda the point of topics like this!  He chooses to collect his way, others collect their ways, everyone's happy.  Relax, man, take a nice deep breath and let it out...  It's all good in the 'hood, 'k?

I picked up eighteen bricks of uncanceled decks from a cruise-to-nowhere casino company that went bankrupt, so yeah, I can relate.  I've been giving the decks out to kids at the hospital where I volunteer, so now I'm way down, maybe five bricks left and going at a rate of about six decks a week.


I've been thinking of a replacement deck I can get that wouldn't break the bank but still be decent enough to use for magic.  Best I can think of it Streamlines from Walmart - decent quality and only $1 a pack.  The problem is that I'm not in a position right now to buy in bulk from Walmart or anyone else, since I'm saving up for my wedding in August.  Plus I'd probably have to pre-order in a decent quantity as well, since the store's not going to have more than the usual quantities on hand.


If someone's got a good solution, I'm all ears.

We're veering off topic, so I'll end here by saying that I'll order some soon and maybe put up a topic if anyone wants to donate to the cause.  I'll do for them like I did for Jason Brumbalow when he sent me decks to give out - I'll personally tell the recipient who it was that gave me the deck to give to them.  But yes, back on topic, or close to it...

Most decks received in a single day - had to be those 18 bricks I mentioned; 216 decks in three boxes.  I just checked again, I have only 3 bricks and about a half-dozen decks remaining.
