Okay thanks for the confirmation! I'm glad that they are holding off, I think it's a smart move. TBC seems to be making smart moves when it comes to decks. I'm glad they aren't unleashing a ton at once like some other companies

I confirmed that these won't be out for awhile, said nothing about dates or anniversaries. The anniversary of the site is coming up on March 8, but the anniversary of Crown decks isn't til May.

In any case, there is no definitive release date scheduled yet for this deck. We always have multiple ideas in the pipeline simultaneously, and this is one we weren't planning to share for a little while yet.

the crown decks kick ass. Been using a v2 blue crown for months now and that deck is a horse! ive gone through probably 4 other decks during that time too.

Are there many pictures of these cards out? I've seen the first picture that CBJ posted but that's it. I wouldn't be able to say how many of a deck I would buy without seeing it, and many people are talking about how many they might buy... Just wondering if I missed something?

What I saw are pics of the tuck bow, there were owls on the front and they look really nice.

Awesome thanks for the picture! I missed that photo. I'm not sure what I think of the box yet, it's very different.

Yeah very different, it has comic style stokes. We have seen too many geometric patterns, machines, gear wheels, robots, and skulls, we need to see some lives

So I was browsing the web and I found this website that has a great deal of cards with very similar artwork to this deck. It seemed to fit right in and I figured you all would like to check it out. It seems to be the artist's, Hydro74, website. It's out there for all to see so here you go!

Whoa! That is very similar! That two of spades looks almost identical to the art seen before. I would not be surprised if it is the same deck, or same artist, though it would be weird due to the licensed characters such as Vader that appear on this deck.

Yeah I was wondering about that too. It seems strange to use all those licensed characters for legal reasons. Also I don't really get how all of them fit into one deck...

It's still some sweet art! I'm interested to learn more about the thought behind this one from both the artist and TBC

Hey guys. Not much I can comment on. Joshua (Hydro) is a great artist, as you can see from what he has up on his site. As mentioned when the other stuff leaked out awhile back, it was work-in-progress material that was shared a bit early.

Just because he has various playing card artwork up on his site does not mean it was all made for a particular client, or that it will be produced.

As with any Blue Crown products, we will make announcements when we're ready. In the meantime, nothing you see should be interpreted as set in stone. If you don't get info from our site, forums, Facebook, Twitter, myself, or Alex, then it may or may not be something we're working on.

While the speculation is fun and exciting, I'd encourage people to not share photos or make guesses about dates, as many people read something on the forums and expect it to be true, and then they get disappointed when it's not. Rumors are just that, and should be taken with a grain of salt.

What I can say is that we're always working on exciting new projects when it comes to cards, DVDs, downloads, etc. We have some very cool stuff in the pipeline that we're going to share pretty soon.

@Reylek, how could you say that, guessing about the dates and designs is our fun of collecting modern decks. well, I know we are standing on different positions

I don't like the faces and I hope they are not the faces of the Owls.
One side of the Owl box says The Blue Crown, doesn't it? I want the Owls!! I want the Owls!!

Yeah I did know that CBJ, but I thought it would be cool to link to the artists website which has a few more pictures. I know many of the newcomers to the board may have missed out. I also remember you had to take some pictures down, but when I found them on the artists website I figured it was okay to share since it was out in the public.

I wasn't trying to repost old stuff (I've been pretty good about that so far on here), I just thought it was some cool information to share with everybody on here both new and old. Sorry if I was being repetitive of some of the old posts, that truly wasn't my intention

I see lots of people like these but I personally dont like them. Not even a little bit honestly. They have good detail but to me the colour is too blank and simple and they are just IMO not that nice.
