Ladies and Gentlemen, Fellow Members of the 52 Plus Joker Society:
It's my pleasure to bring to you today your ballot nominees for this year's Diamond Awards.
As you may know, there will be two awards this year for you to vote upon: Deck of the Year and Artist of the Year. This topic was created with the purpose of educating you about the nominees that will appear on this year's ballot - a "top five" of the past year's two-hundred-plus deck releases, curated for you by the members of the Diamond Awards Committee (DAC). Of course, should you have a personal preference beyond what appears here, you're welcome to nominate a write-in candidate, provided the deck or artist in question had a release date between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017 - a comprehensive list of the eligible releases can be found in
this topic; while not 100% complete, it does cover nearly every major release in the worldwide playing card community. Write-in candidates are subject to verification by the DAC, whose ruling will be considered final.

Remember that your votes must be received by Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11:59:59pm Eastern time. Winners will be announced at the gala banquet dinner on the final night of the annual club convention, to be held on Saturday, October 14th at the Cincinnati Airport Holiday Inn in Erlanger, Kentucky.
