That is quite an unethical answer, I believe I paid $20 for shipping so unless that was spent elsewhere shipping fees should not be an issue. But yes, I have made a claim with paypal and hope I get my money back soon.

Robert, when I had an emergency issue during the holiday sale I just apologized and promised to send them out when I could. For about a week since I came back from visiting family I was packing orders and sending them out. Some people got very angry, but most people were fine with waiting a bit longer for their orders. They were fine with that before I threw in a free deck with each shipment, even.

What exactly is the issue here? Has Robert simply not sent out the uncut yet?

Ye that's essentially it, that and his sporadic messages do not fill me with confidence.

Sorry everyone, I've been dealing with alot of crap lately.  I lost my job very abruptly and have had no money coming in.  I can't explain he stress that follows.  I never intended things to end bad.  I have every intention of shipping but I'm stretched out right now. LauR I actually recommend doing a claim with Paypal.  I'll deal with them later.  I would also like to say this bad situation in no way has effected the finances for the Eco card clips.  LauR I will make this up to you as soon as I can.

@alex thanks and your right, family first

@russell NO comment  :'(

Rather than doing a claim with paypal, why don't you just refund me the $70.

sorry to butt in on something that is really none of my business...but as someone who has been in your situation before (although not with RB)....I believe he is saying he doesn't have the money to refund you.  I believe (and anyone correct me if I am wrong) if you file a claim against him on paypal you will get your money back from him...even if he doesn't have any money in his paypal account...it will just drive his paypal account into the negative and he will have to settle the problem with paypal.  Basically I think he's saying the quickest way for you to get your money would be to file a dispute.

Robert, save yourself the hassle, and drop by the post office and send the package. You do not want strikes on your PayPal account. You're going to ship Eco clips en masse, and I doubt having this on your record will help when you inevitably have to deal with international scammers who claim they never received your package.

LauR is waiting on a refund anyway, why not just send the package rather than forcing a customer to go through unnecessary hassles?

Oh boy...why does this feeling in my gut tell me I am about to get got on those eco clips? If he cannot afford to ship one item how will he afford to produce and ship another? This is not good.

I promis that this financial issue has in no way caused problems with the finances of the Eco Clips.  If a peace of mind is necessary I can email you a copy of the invoice that was paid for to the wood shop.  Thanks

I've been working with Robert on the special edition Tendril clips, and he's certainly been forthright, fair and honest on all the details there, and working hard to make a very cool product. I know he had some personal complications lately (just like everyone has at times) that might have thrown a few things off but I have no doubt Robert will set everything right. He's been very helpful to me personally with his knowledge of the card market. As someone else starting a new business presence I can say that's there are a lot of details, lots of things to learn and you won't always get it perfect on the first try, but we all have a lot of great people in the card community and if we support each other through those early phases we can get to great things that everyone can benefit from.
