I just launched on Kickstarter and would appreciate your support. 1000 decks to be printed by USPCC. Let me know if you have any questions. Great for lawyers, judges, police officers or as a gift for one of them!

Thank you, Jason
I appreciate that you're working hard to get this project launched, but it seems a little expensive for such a minimally-customized deck. I'm assuming that none of the other cards' faces beyond the Ace of Spades and the Miranda card are unique, beyond going for a deeper shade of red (what some might refer to as "casino red"). This means there's little compelling reason to spend $12 on a pack of these versus spending $2 on a pack of blue Bicycles. I know you were going for simple, but simple is the opposite of the custom market today - and if you are going simple, you need to go less expensive, as well. Ten years ago, a custom deck like this could have made a dent, but today, it's a little too ho-hum.
Those bells and whistles you opted to eschew in your campaign are also part of the reason the campaign is wallowing at the moment. Those bells and whistles are what makes an otherwise very ordinary deck into something that's interesting and worth collecting.
I do wish you luck on the campaign. But if the campaign doesn't succeed, consider a serious retooling of the design. Make a theme out of it - it's the Magistrate deck, so why not get an artist to make custom court images, dressing up your Jacks, Queens and Kings in court robes and maybe even the powdered wigs of "ye olden times"/modern British courts? They could be wielding folios, briefcases, yellow legal pads, fancy pens, gavels, etc. Make an interesting Joker design that suits the theme as well. Make an Ace of Spades that's got something to do with a court theme - perhaps with columns in the Federal style or something? For that matter, you could dress up all four Aces. There's a dozen or more different ways you can make something special out of this deck without even breaking a sweat! And yes - "bells and whistles" as well! Custom deck seal, embossed tuck box, metallic foil, gilding, etc. Make people look at this and say "Wow, that's cool, I want it!" rather than "What? This is a little too plain for me, especially at that price."
