EPCC is collaborating with USPC as well as the Jerry's Nugget Casino on this one. But while they'll have the look of the originals, I have my doubts about them having the same feel. From what I know if it, they're using completely modern manufacturing processes and supplies - so none of the original papers, inks, varnishes, etc. will be used. (They really couldn't be, based on what I've been told about new US regulations banning the use of petroleum products to make playing cards.) They won't be all that much different from other USPC-made custom decks, though perhaps EPCC will have a hand in insuring a higher quality control standard.
Regardless of what any collectors may say, it's very unlikely that these new issues will affect the value of the older decks in any way. They're simply not the same decks, period.
