I stopped at a town called Goulburn here in australia and bought 2 Dare iced coffees and the lady hands me a deck of cards from Dare iced coffee, then she showed me the sign saying buy 2 and get a deck free.

I post pictures of it soon, i have work first

Hmm if they look any good might have to go pick some of these up, though in Australia cards that usually come free are not the best quality (At least the coca-cola ones are horrible, lucky I got a brick for free from work :P)
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

Five, if he says they're horrible, I would assume they're not the same USPC coca-cola card you've seen me use. ::)
Are the pictures coming now? I'm curious to see what this deck looks like. :)

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

From what I can see in the photos, they look practically generic on the faces, though they did use a rather bright shade of red.  Smooth or air-cushion?  Decent stock?  What about other handling characteristics?

Plastic coating, cheap deck, BUT it handles really well, ive used it for about 4-5 days now and still fans pretty well, stiff stock but very flexible

Interesting.  But unless you were advertising Dare coffee products, it would look pretty, er, unattractive, compared to something like an Artifice or a Gold Arcane.  It goes to show you that just because a deck is a cheap giveaway, that doesn't automatically mean it's cheaply made.  I had a deck for some men's body spray/deordorant/shampoo line that was USPC-made and actually held up well under decent use.  It was at least the same quality as a pack of Bikes.  Can't remember the name of the product for the life of me; I don't even think it's still on the market.  Too much competition from AXE and TAG...
