Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

You honestly think they'd last for more than a single game?  The one they're making is waterproof and reusable.

Funny concept, could be a good novelty item at Spencer's or Hot Topic.

That is quite the game, my friends and I have talked about playing something like this before. It's definitely not one of those game you would want to play best of 5 with :p . Personally I would make the grid a little larger, right now it seems like there is a pretty decent chance of guessing a space with a shot. 8 or so shots in < 10 min is not going to be pretty.

When have you ever known a drinking game to last very long or require a great deal of thinking?  ;)  The idea behind a drinking game is TO DRINK, so guessing a shot location is kinda the idea...  You can make the game more survivable by watering the booze a little, or using liqueur shots with low proof.

I think that Curt has a good point. Yeah like @sabacc said the point is to drink, but with this game you would be gone in a few minutes. By making it a little bit bigger you have more time before you've "had enough"

I'd rather just make my own with pizza boxes

A lot of drinking game players aren't terribly concerned about when they've "had enough"!  If they were, they wouldn't be drinking game players...

You're missing the point. Most people who are playing this don't want to only remember 3 minutes of the night. If you go to a party you want to enjoy yourself for a little before you're too drunk. With a small board like this, yes the point is to drink, but 8 shots in a row isn't enjoyable. It will only lead to bad things. Obviously the players want to get drunk but this game rushes it

In such cases, just use fewer "ships", I guess.

Whilst I won't be backing the project itself I do quite like the idea and might print out some sheets and give it a try sometime :P
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

Yeah beer on the side isn't a bad idea when you have a smaller ship count.

I wonder how this game compares to century pong? haha  ;)
