Hello, there is a card on Ebay right now that is a brown 808 Stag card, I don't see any reference of the Stag cards coming in brown. Does anyone know if this is a USPC card or a copycat? Thanks for any help.

I've seen it claimed that USPCC phased out Green and Brown decks in 1927, which was most likely the year USPCC started using the Stag back as a Bicycle deck (was previously a Capitol deck).  BUT, my 1918ish sample book only shows red and blue for the Capitol Stag deck.  So, a bit more info, but no conclusion.
Check out my decks for sale on eBay, and contact me directly for discounts. https://www.ebay.com/sch/clahobo/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

Russ, is it possible that you were looking at this deck: the Amber Stag?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ny9JEOrzkvE

A few years back, USPC tried to get people more interested in cards by creating "Club 808," a membership club where you paid to join and were given exclusive access to limited edition decks of cards and other card-related merchandise made just for the club members.  For reasons I don't yet know, the entire idea eventually fizzled and they sold off the leftover decks to whoever wanted to buy them.  The Amber Stag was one of the Club 808 releases.
