I have a Love-Hate relationship with it.

It is awesome and brilliant on the cards and makes everything so easy.

But I hate the smell of it and the cards stay slippery for a long time.

What do you like and hate about it?

I like Ta Performance coating and how durable it is for springs/fans/.ect and I cant say there is really anything I absolutely HATE >:(  about it :)  The smell is a little Different but I dont think it is too bad, and the decks using it feel great :)
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

If you think the cards are too slippery, learn to control them better. I personally have no problems with it.
And the smell? Really Josh? ::)

I like everything about it. What you say you hate Five i love *well not the smell aspect :P* but the smooth slipperiness that lasts for so long makes the finish the amazing magic/performance/premium finish many of us have come to know and love.

Josh, I saw you open the deck live a few hours ago... Give it time.
I practically learned on performance coating, and even as a beginner, what you call "too slippery" quickly became natural to me.

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

This is almost as funny as the topic from the kid whose first-ever topic was about his desire to design his own deck, kicked off with "how do you do it?"  Can't remember his name, it's not that important...

So if I'm reading this right, you don't like your performance-coated deck because it does everything that anyone who uses a deck usually loves, magicians and cardists in particular?  My fiancee actually *likes* the smell, and while I'll grant it's a bit strong, it does fade away in time.  But everything else?  Dude, that why I LOVE perf-coat/magic/premium finish.  :))

Please try to stay on topic everyone.

Even if some people have questions or statements that you may find funny or dumb, they still have the right to ask them. Frost, you need to understand that Don ( Good@Sabacc ) is a man who is not afraid to post his opinions and he is more than welcome to do so on these forums. Please to not try and bicker back and forth and if you feel you must then take it up via the PM system or the The Lol-A-Query-Um ( http://aethercards.com/discourse/index.php?board=12.0 ).

As for the question from the original post; I really have no gripes with the Performance coating.

I really do enjoy this coating. It may be a little different and take some time to get adjusted to, but it is a good coating!

Five, most of the time you seem like a reasonable enough, nice guy.  I think this topic is pretty dumb and doesn't make any sense.  At all.

I'm just wondering why on earth you invited this a)blithering moron or b) troll onto the forums?  Honestly, if I was Alex, I would be checking both of your IP addresses to see if they match...

He's talking to you.  I don't like you either.  In fact, if you are portraying your genuine personality on these forums, I would recommend that you distance yourself from all human contact for the rest of your natural life because you're clearly not capable of interacting with other people.

EDIT:

Sorry, Curt.  It needed said.

On topic; I don't care about the topic.  I haven't noticed any excessive slipperyness or any strong smell.
