Your cards are absolutely stunning. How you approached the design of the deck is pure madness, and I love it! I'm happy to say I've a deck of Curator adorned with your penmanship and I have been looking to give it some playmates. Your deck has so much class I feel I could drop it in my pocket then be invited to the kings ball only to have his daughter offered to me as a wife.

Don't forget that people will sometimes say very critical things about art in an attempt to impress the listener.  (Especially if they have a date with them.)   heck, I'd hire you in a heartbeat if I thought for one second I could afford you. :)

It looks like you've inspired my sister to try her hand at a larger format, and multiple colors, like you.  She went out and bought the paper a few days ago.  I have no idea what she'll come up with!

Here's some of her recent (Valentine's) stuff:

nice.

Emmanuel, nice as well :) Even more ;)

I can't wait for this deck to come out. At least there is not too much of 2013 left...... :)

Curator, which I just got recently, is amazing. Every time I go through it - and I've looked at it way more than any other deck in my (modest) collection- I fall in love with it more. And see more. The images, which you'd think would be kind of miscellaneous, really do hang together somehow astonishingly well. Thank you for this work, it's brought some real pleasure to us card nuts.

Thank you Mydnyghte! It is madness, albeit the fun kind  :D

Indeed, there isn't too much of 2013 left! I'm delighted to know that you see more and more in the deck. From my observations, children who play and look at the deck discover and see things much faster than adults, and that always makes me smile  :)

The name was my tiny contribution to the deck.  He called out for suggestions and like that one best.  I just thought it was apropos, considering both the topic and the medium.

Although I am very new to card design and collecting, I think what you have is amazing. The fact you can make these out of paper blows my mind. I certainly would purchase these if and when the time comes. Best of luck in finishing this up =D

Which skill is that?  I just know a lot because I hang out here a lot, I listen and I remember.  It helps that I know a few people in the business, but it's not required.

Thank you everybody! Don, we definitely need to hang out more! I'm in Hudson Heights.

Just checked it out on the map - it's a pocket neighborhood inside the larger Washington Heights.  Looks like a decent place to live, but the surrounding neighborhoods were a little dicey back in the day...

I'm going to be out-and-about around the East Village with friends Thursday evening next week, probably do some hanging around in the afternoon before that - was thinking of checking out the local magic shops and trying not to empty my wallet, or maybe seeing a movie...  Just a generally plan-less day of leisure.  Let me know if you want to join me.
