I Saw this earlier. I was upset th this isn't a sequel, but in the same thought, at least the franchise ended on a high note.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off has to be one of the best comedy movies, Glad to see Matthew still has the skills :) He was pretty good in Tower Heist as well
Mystery is the basic appeal of magic. Once the secrets are known, the magician becomes a mere manipulator, an actor in a suspense drama which has little impact because the audience knows the ending in advance.

I'm actually old enough that I saw "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" when it was still in theaters...and I was the assistant manager.  Saw it COUNTLESS times.  Still love it.

It would be great to see a Ferris Sequel, I guess they might not do it seeing as John Hughes Passed away.

But if they never do, this will fill the void.

I've thought about it on more than one occasion.  Imagine Ferris getting so caught up in being a working stiff and a whipped husband that he gets as uptight as Cameron, and Cameron becoming some kind of dot-com millionaire and living easy...  Then HE'D be the one making Ferris loosen up and live a little by stealing him out for a day away from work.  :))

That would be so cool!!! I'd also like him to meet up with his girlfriend from the first movie (I always thought she was gorgeous!!!), for whatever reason they split as I think she was to nice to turn him into a whipped husband so he'd have to've married someone else. Also, remember her last line in the film?, "He's going to marry me".

So at the end of his "Day Off", I'd love to see Ferris, quit his job, go into partnership with Cameron, (Something that he'd been offered but refused due to jealousy perhaps? which led to a distance in their friendship?) And leaves his domineering wife to rekindle his romance with the recently divorced Sloane.
