It seems like a lot of folks get their cards from ebay. Out of the big players, who do you think is the best (prices, shipping, selection, customer service, etc)?

With all the ones I've dealt with, big and small, I've had no issues at all.  I go with the company (or individual) that has what I want at the best price including shipping, especially if I can place a large order with one entity instead of several smaller ones all over the place.

I most frequently use:
BMPokerWorld (but I order from their website to get the coupon code discount)
the1eyedjack (same as above, order from the website, not eBay)
AceKing
pokerstud52 (who has a presence here - PM pokerstuf52 instead of ordering through eBay for a discount)
and, as much as I hate his original deck designs, Merz67 - again, from his website, which has a better selection in most cases than his eBay offerings.

Yeah, like they've said above me, most all are good.

I most often use Pokerstud52 though! That's the route I often go

To add to the list of sellers, I have had a few transactions with Jamie ( FullBoatDealer ) and everything has always gone smoothly.

He's another good one that I've used before.  I did get into a wee argument with him about what constituted a version two deck as opposed to a second printing of version one of Bicycle Guardians, but yes, he's a good trader.

Pokerstud52 seems to get inventory on newly released decks much faster than most anyone else... That being said, BMPokerworld, FullboatDealer, AceKing, & 1eyedjack are also very reputable dealers... They all have great deals and certain dealers may have better deals on items that other dealers don't have, most probably due to costs of decks depending on quantity ordered, or whether or not they were involved in the printing of a deck... There is one dealer that was previously mentioned that I would never do business with, but I was taught if I don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all... However, the Five dealers that I mentioned here seem to be some of the largest dealers of new decks in the card collecting community... There is also a vast array of smaller, more independent sellers that offer far more competitive prices (depending on the deck) and some that offer absolutely ridiculous prices (not ridiculous in a good sense)... All in all it really depends on how good you, the consumer, search, bid, and communicate with those selling decks and looking to trade for decks... Good hunting to all...

I've dealt with Ace King and from the 1 Eyed Jack and both are very reputable. The packaging was great and the prices were reasonable.

I live in the UK and I find shipping on most ebay dealers to be expensive enough that it puts me off. Say I want 2 decks I might end up paying $11 which is what the 2 decks would cost, sure I might pay this at dnd but in that case I either get them from dnd or wait until they come over into the UK but that takes ages and it doesn't always happen. I wanted to order some streamline decks but as I dont want them that badly the shipping is off putting enough to stop me from getting any. I had someone from a forum send me 2 decks with a shipping total of $5.50 so I dont know why more sellers can do that.

I've just checked one ebay sellers prices and for 3 decks to the UK it costs $18.50, the good thing is I dont have to pay extra if I want additional decks but in that instant I wouldn't want extra.

Really? The few times I checked out the shipping, it was very expensive.
But I usually buy from either pokerstud52 or fullboatdealer - they have very reasonable prices and shipping. Both very reliable.

No need to beat around the bush - you don't like Merz67!

I've had one purchase from them and it went smoothly.  What was your experience, please?  It's better that we know what you ran into rather than running into it ourselves, right?

12 decks shipped to the UK in around 5 days for $15.00? how is that unreasonable? I'll usually make a large order every few months. Also, John is incredible helpful in holding decks until an order is large enough to justify the shipping.

He's also pretty good with customer service and helping you find what you want.  Hard to argue with that.

Just remember to order from him here, directly, and not through eBay.  You'll get his discount if you do.  His user ID here is the same as there: pokerstud52.

Okay, maybe that's reasonable. But many of his decks are listed with $19 shipping for each deck. Maybe bulk purchases are a lot better value, but if I just wanted to get one deck from him then $19 is pretty crazy.

I've used FullBoatDealer and AceKing.  Both very good.  I've also bought from a guy named '2011chachanj', who was really nice to deal with.

I buy playing cards from Fullboatdealer most often, he's sincere and honest. Other famous sellers on eBay are excellent too, including merz67 :-X

i've purchased from john (aceking) and mike (bmpokerworld) and they provide very good services. along with Jamie from fullboatdealer, they response to your questions usually within two days, if not one day.

careful with merz, because his packaging isn't the greatest. i didn't try contacting him when i bought cards off of him last time, so i'm not sure if his service is as well as the others.

Like I mentioned earlier I dont buy that often from any of them purely because of shipping to the uk but I did buy from BMPokerworld a couple of times and shipping and packaging was great, I also bought from the1eyedjack and his shipping times getting them out and packing were great also.

I don't often buy cards off ebay, although I just recently made a purchase from BPM. I'm not sure how fast his shipping is or anything, but I've heard great things so I was comfortable buying from him. I also am planning on making a bigger purchase from Pokerstud52 sometime in the next month or so.
