I would love to.

I'm also getting closer to finishing the Vault. Here's a post I made on another forum:

Hurrah!

The die is made and is beautiful. Basically, it's almost impossible to make sharp corners by hand- you just can't get the pressure to make sharp bends, so a die has to be made. This is very expensive (I don't want to talk about it, lol), and takes a very gifted person to make it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tool_and_die_maker

Luckily, I work with the best! As you can see from the picture below, the die makes a HUGE difference...

The top Vault was the design prototype that we made by bending it by hand. If you look closely, you can see that the box is held in by the corners- not a great design, as it'll scrape the corners of the box as it goes in and out:

The bottom one, however, is a Vault made with the die. The difference is unbelievable as you can see that the box is now held in by the flat of the box because the corners are now sharp! Hurrah!

Now I go back to the application of the Damask Pattern and make sure the application and clearcoat won't affect the brass (we have to apply the pattern by using over 200lbs of pressure). After that, I'll finalize the packaging and pricing and we should be good to go!

I hope you guys don't mind me posting about how all of this works. I thought it would be interesting to give you some insight into what actually happens when trying to create a product from start to finish. I can talk about design for days! There's probably 1 more month to go.

My best,

jamie

Well, it's done!! Hurrah! Get ready for a lot of pictures, lol.

And, after the damask, we managed to give it a UV clear coat- and it worked wonderfully. The die is perfect and everything looks like we're ready to start production. As of now, I'm hoping for an official release of...

The Vault

Release: March.31.
Price: $48 + $7 shipping, anywhere in the world.

~every Vault will come in a small bag that looks like a Turkish rug, great to hold your quarter for your IR, or for display~

~with a red deck; the colours shine through the IR slots

~table hopping? leave your cards on display. Or have a prediction inside~

~with a blue deck; everything blends~

~stand tall with a thumb slot to pull cards out smoothly and easily; no forcing required (pun intended)~

~originally designed to help boxes holding IRs, it also adds another layer of mystery. Like the intricate boxes on stage~

~it also holds cards without the box; slightly beveled, beautifully displayed~

~one last shot of the back pattern~

~and the front~

I guess that's about it! Now to start making them! I'll probably start with 100 and see how we do. Thanks for reading everyone!

My best,

jamie

It... looks... amazing! I did not like how it looked when you showed us that first picture but this product has gone through a lot of changes and I love what you did to it! My only problem is the price... I'm sure it was expensive to make and to me, its worth the price but its still a high price for something that I don't necessarily need.

Those are really nice looking! The price isn`t too bad for the design.
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

So, how hard will it be in the future to offer these with customized art on them? Just wondering is all... :)

And Jamie send me a PM about the decks in a bottle. I want to offer a limited run of those in my store!

I hear a lot of people talking about the price.  This is more than just a simple clip - it's actually part of a magic trick.  Did you happen to notice the photo where a knife pierces a deck front-to-back while it's in the clip?

Yeah Don is right! My first though was that the price was awesome! It's actually a steal  :D Also the shipping price isn't bad especially if you live across the pond!

Woah! That's amazing. Here is my opinion. I think this is definitely worth the price. It's just that many people may have a bit of trouble spending that much at once. But congrats and good luck!

Wow!! Those are cool.

They almost look like they were made to mesh symbiotically with my ORNATE Decks!

I would love to get one of these for myself and/or get some branded!

thanks, Randy

Right under the picture at the very top is a Buy Now button.

Anyway, These look SICK! By far my favorite clips of all time, but I just don't have the money right now and I don't really collect clips.
