Group-made deck of cards? (You can see poll once you have voted)

I was thinking that all of us card experts could perhaps all work together on creating designs for a custom deck of cards. Do you think that would be a good idea? Just a hypothetical question.

The problem does not lie in whether or not it gets funded, but in if you would be willing to work on it. I believe if its good enough it would get funded, as, if everyone working on designing it bought it, it would almost already be funded. The funds would go to Aether Cards. However, who would be willing to bring it to USPCC once the designs would be completed, perfected, and approved by all?
What theme for the cards?
Skull or no skull?
Sci-fi style?
Custom faces, box, and backs? and bonus cards?
We would need to start off with a doodle. Who is with me?

I think it might be hard if people have differing opinions. We don't want people pissed at each other on the forums, ya know? Making a deck like the Black Rock Collective deck wouldn't be hard, with each member making one card. If you want to have a uniform theme, court cards, etc... that could be a little more difficult.

lets just start doodling what comes to mind, upload, and criticize, and then redo it again. Custom pips seems like a good idea, they are just rly hard to make. We need about 10 more people involved into this to make it better and bigger.

For drawing, u can use free programs such as Artrage, Tux Paint, Seashore. I'll start pretty soon. Sumo paint is also amazing for drawing.

Let's keep it classy, there's been too much sci-fi lately with all those steampunk decks, galvanic etc...
Oh and if nobody takes it I'd like the QH too
Our priority should be the back design, to make sure the theme and general color scheme are consistent throughout the deck.

I updated that so maybe everyone go through and pick like 3 cards to do for now.


Also I think we should al agree on a software to use so we can transfer files to eachother.

If you guys come to me with a completed design, I'll take it to USPCC and have everything printed and shipped. I'll also create a tuck case for the completed design and a custom seal if you guys want.

Outside of those two things, I will leave this project completely in the hands of whoever wants to take lead and see it through to the end. Just some advice, keep the theme consistent, or go all out crazy, but don't have half the cards be practical, and another half be impractical.

This would be such a fun idea. But who would the artist be? If this takes off it would be fun to play with. I would definitely purchase a few for collections sake.

I think for the theme everyone should just do whatever fits their style and design a card they like, with just a few guidelines like it has to have a white face border or something so it will fit into the deck and look right. Or some of you may want the whole deck to fit one theme but we have alot of planning to do.
