Poll

What is your opinion regarding the extra card w/credits?

Regular backs on both, credits on one in small print, AC ad on the other.
Credits on both sides of one in medium-sized print, AC ad on the other with regular back.
Credits on three sides in regular print, AC ad on the fourth.
I really couldn't give a flying fig and have no opinion - do what thou wilst.
I want something different, and I'll describe it in a post below...

A teddy bear is supposed to be standing on it. I said so in a previous post. :P

I missed that with this being such a popular thread. A teddy bear would look cool! ???
... I think. I'd have to see it first though  ;)

I agree but if that's your rocking horse, I am so expecting the teddy bear. It's cute (in a bad ass kind of way) so keep it up. Seriously, it really looks good that it makes me want to see the teddy bear ASAP!  :P

BTW my name is in my signature.

Speaking of name... Since we talked about having our names in the ace and signatures on the back, I think the signatures should be our usual signature, whether or not it is the same as our actual name. I usually sign art pieces with a crescent moon symbol followed by .exe which is obviously not my actual name, so the ace of spades would make up for that. :P

Ya think so? I think the backs should have our real names, typed, and the fronts whichever one we choose, handwritten. I love your horse, too!

Hmm either way would work. Then again, it's true that the ace of spades would have less space and would therefore work better with our shorter signatures. The back can easily accommodate full names.

Thanks for the good comments on the horse, by the way. Working on the bear now. And I'll probably add some background detail if I can find something. And I might remake the whole thing after I'm done, I'm not completely satisfied right now.

I thought the ace of hearts, which is supposed to be wild, could have devil's horns on his head, maybe they could even make out the shape of a heart, very subtly. I did this VERY quickly:

I was kinda having trouble following which ones are typed, and which are our actual signatures, so I will just say what I think. I think the typed backs with the rainbow look beautiful, and it would be nice if the rainbow was two way. Also so you don't need to distort our signatures to make it look nice and clean, I think the backs should be types and the AoS should have our signatures. It would allow it to fit better, and we could puzzle-piece the signatures together, kinda like how the Charity Waters AoS pieces all of the little pictures into the AoS. Also, I don't think the AoS should have a border. I feel that would take away from the signatures, and artistic values.

Moon i LOVE the horse, cant wait for the bear.

I was thinking, our actual signatures are usually large, odd angles and not straight. That would be easier and look awesome as the AoS...The back would look nice with a cursive font typed out all of our names. It'd be neat and simple.
I need a list of names, and I'll mock something up.

@Moon: Can you explain your vision for the back again? I know all the names will be together in lines, and it'll be 'solid', and I know the stroke etc. I'm just not sure about the subtle two way back.

EDIT: I just looked at the example again and I can do something cool like that. Idk if the rainbow would look better than a black and white gradient? I feel like the rainbow is a bit cheesy? That's just me though.

Derek 911, I agree with everything you said. The ace of hearts is taken, but apparently that person isn't working on it. This was just a suggestion!

Imagine the example, exactly like it is, with a black imagine in the background, whatever it ends up being. The black outline of the names would blend in with the background image.
And the rainbow can be something else, it can be literally any combination of colors we can imagine really, as long as you know how to make a custom gradient. But avoid having black in it, it would blend with the outline and make the names harder to read.
As far as the suble one-way back is concerned, I'm against it and so is Evan, but I don't know about the rest of you guys.

Edit: Forgot to give you my name. Alexandre Blackburn (Now THAT is cheesy :P )

Okay I understand. Should the image be something related to cards like a spade pip? Also, maybe a gradient of blue to green? Or red to orange?
Now I don't really care for the subtle one-way back either BUT, isn't the whole back going to be one way? Unless I mirror all the names which will look odd?

I also don't want a one way back.

We should really find a way to make a bunch of polls to see what everyone thinks about issues like this in a more organized way.

If it works for vslims I don't see why it wouldn't for us. :P

The image could be anything really, as long as it can be mirrored(Or is already two-way to begin with). I don't really have any idea at the moment.

You speak truth my good sir. That look is awesome, I'm really excited to make the back with our names. I like the thin font, I might do something similar  ;D
VSlims have about 0 space between lines which I like, makes the transition cleaner when it becomes mirrored. The thicker and bigger the words the less sleek It'll look I feel like.

OH also... I think If I do it thin like the slims, I should repeat the group of our names twice. That way, nobody's name is getting cut off while other's are completely intact.

For the names, may I suggest creating a pattern and then just throwing it onto the back, like a Bee? Obviously you can choose to add borders. Tile the pattern on the back and cut off names no longer matter.

Not 100% sure what you mean. Probably because I need sleep. You're suggesting a pattern and no names? Or a pattern with names?  ::)

I just did this in 5 min. Sort of just to give you an idea of something. Let me know what you guys think, input wanted!

It would have to be black and white to keep it a 1-way back. Besides that it doesn't look bad.

???  Just realized the colors need to be the same on both sides... Just need to add the image in the background and wondering what to do with the edges - Do i fade them out or add a background?
