I pledged for 3 decks about an hour ago. I'd say it's easily worth it, even with the international shipping added on.
Also, I think I was the 65th pledger. So, that means a signed card! :D
I can't wait to get this deck in my hands, honestly. Any rough idea as to how long the cards will take once the Kickstarter finishes?

Referring to the Brimstone, being the first deck that has been shipped out after completion its project on kickstarter, it'll take months.

All they need is my approval to print it, and they say "4-6 weeks" but I think we all know that they have delays. I will get it on the schedule the instant I can, promise!

Thanks to everyone that has pledged so far! Getting close to 20% in one evening! Keep it rolling!

I believe that the "Play Me Burlesque" deck shipped before that - though it wasn't made by USPC, it's a good quality deck.  I only wish they chose a better font for the artist names on the cards; tiny and italic script just don't play nice with each other...

You may be right. I didn't follow that deck so I'm not quite sure.

USPCC has been prioritizing products from bigger companies so I'd still say it'll take quite a long time before the pledgers could get their hands onto these Tendril decks.

  • Card for me maybe?
my comment and inquiry is being ignored...  >:(  is anyone in Singapore pledging to this deck? may i ask if anyone is willingly to help me pledge for the 2 decks + 1 black eco card clip?  :)

Has it occurred to you that maybe you aren't being ignored, but that there's simply no one here from Singapore who's pledging for the deck? ::)   Would you prefer we ALL sent you replies to the effect of "I don't live in Singapore."?

Here, I'll start:

I don't live in Singapore!!!

If that doesn't do it for you, then consider posting an [ISO] in the Sales, Trades, ISOs board, something like this:

[ISO] Singaporean pledging for Tendril deck

Does THAT help?

users can ignore this long post if they're looking for updates on the Tendril Deck...  :-X

firstly i apologize to all which are offended/affected.  :'(

secondly my post was in hopes that Paul would reply me and upon seeing his post a few minutes after mine but without a response i got abit frustrated because the pledges are limited which means the longer the delay the lesser hopes of getting the card clip. I've gotten a response from Paul and my best option is to hope someone can help me pledge with me paying the person and collecting the items from him/her (If the kickstarter is successful [which it will obviously be :D ] and refunding me the money if it isn't) and I admit I was hoping there are Singaporeans (As I know a few here on the forums) were pledging on the Tendril deck, saw my post and could offer to help (Damn, I sound like a spoil brat. :( )

so, sorry all I offended/affected.
Stalking the forums, I'm in that corner!

Take the suggestion - create an [ISO] topic seeking fellow Singaporeans interested in pooling efforts to get the Tendril deck.  It's your best chance for success here and people often check the Sales, Trades and ISOs board.

I was busting your chops for sounding so petulant, but I was also offering you good advice to achieve your goal.

So we've been up for just a bit more than half a day, and already hit 20% funding. By this rate, we can get Tendril made by dinner on Tuesday. :)

Thank you so much everyone, this is pretty exciting stuff.

Do you guys even read this? Like I could have the meaning of life here and I doubt you would know it.

Hey xmetal, it looks like it's going great so far!

I pledged for 6 decks and a Teal Card Clip. I probably won't have any call to use the Card Clip but I couldn't resist the great idea that's so specific to your design and colors!

Out of curiousity, did you have any problems with the USPCC printing the subtle black pattern on your protodeck? I thought the photos of your protodeck looked great and you can really see the pattern printed at just the right level of contrast. The face card background patterns are my main worrying point with the ORNATES.

thanks, Randy

Randy,

Thanks the pledge, I saw that last night! Per your question, they actually got that spot on on the first try. I was very specific with them about that feature and what is was supposed to look like. In real life it's just right, I was pleased. maybe I got lucky and have my monitor calibrated just like theirs or something. :)

I should mention that their main concern was my border design, so you may have some interesting discussion about that with them. be prepared to make some adjustments just in case...

Well it would seem I left a hole in my rewards that more than a few people were interested in, so I plugged that hole today and have a new 24 deck and 24+uncut available. I already had arranged with a few people for that, so hopefully this will simplify things for everyone.

Well this is super cool. I just discovered that Tendril has become a Kickstarter Staff Pick and is on a featured page! Neato. Maybe I'm not too shabby at this after all.   :D

Sometimes people have to retract there funding due to unknown financial reasons. There's still plenty of time! Haha don't worry  :)

It's not even a week yet! It'll go up. I'm pretty sure this will be funded. No need to worry my friend.

Hey lara, I know you, too, had trouble choosing between the teal and the black clip. I chose black because
1) It will remind me of this awesome deck
2) It will probably be rarer (apparently, less people are buying it)
3) It will look nice and original with other decks
4) How many teal clips do you have?
