Confinement by Phil Dacosta is a new trick from Ellusionist. It looks awesome and I'm considering buying it!

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

  • Facebook:
First, it works with an ordinary pack of gum, probably of that brand: Five.  The packaging on that gum it rather unique.  Second, I just listened to the video and I didn't hear anywhere that they give you a pack of the gum.  Third, it's not mentioned anywhere in the info section below the video screen.  Fourth, it's an AWESOME-LOOKING trick, very powerful, and it's only beginner-level difficulty!  Dude, go for it!  I'd love to hear a review!

Wow, I didn't know some of that. That makes this trick even more impressive!

I ordered this effect and watched the download last night. Eric Jones helps explain the effect with Phil Dacosta and they do a good job showing you the details. The effect is advertised as beginners level, but you do have to  know how to controll a card in the deck and then there is another rather advanced card move that will take some practise to get down. The making of the gimmick is a little arts and craftsy, but not to difficult. The effect, when done right does look powerful and you'll get great reaction from it. The bonus handling or second method reminds me alot of Richard Sanders Ultra gum trick. It's a lttle expensive for a download, but once you learn it you'll have a excellant trick in your arsenal.

P.S. you do not get a pack of gum with this download lol.

Billy.

My only problem with it is that its overpriced. On The Wire, this would be half of that price at the most. Thats the only reason I haven't bought it.

That was gnarly!  :o
Thanks for the heads up. I'm still thinking about getting it though. My funding is really low because of my compulsive deck buying  :P
I prefer hand written signatures over digital ones but the ink appears to be stuck on my monitor screen...
