I don't believe those are CBJ's. I'm pretty sure that they are Chin's from Season's playing cards.

I think the box looks much nicer with the cutaway of the backs of the cards... Classy and good looking... I'm glad the Joker was removed from the box... Although I'm not overly critical of any artists work, I must say If I had my way the creepy looking Joker would be replaced with a more classic style bicycle Joker... Being this is a true Bicycle 808 Rider Back, it would be nice to have a classic Rainbow style Joker... I'm just saying... Am I alone that this joker looks a little like a reject from a Batman comic???

Thanks for you're thoughts on the joker, this joker in fact is modeled after the joker from Batman. Its my trademark joker from the effect I have on the market called joker Monte, a brilliant effect created by David Neighbors. my favori te joker has always been the classic arrco joker from way back, so I took my joker and modified it as short of a tribute to the Arrco Joker. (the collar with the bells and the hat). I've always gotten compliments on it, in fact I've been asked to make t shirts with it and stuff, one guy even asked me if he could use it for a tattoo! To me all jokers jesters and clowns are creepy, but then I kinda like creepy.

Actually several of my friends said this is a variant of the Arrco joker and unfortunately that's why they don't pledge this deck :'( :'(

I agree, but I also think that it's really hard to make a good box for a "rainbow" deck!

Why not just have a rainbow riderback as a representation? And did we establish why it was black? To me the box isnt a deal breaker, but I must admit the black box thing is a bit... Throwing off - it's too aggressive.

Agreed! I thought of those two as well. It's different but it doesn't look bad. I think it works really well with this deck

I think the standard Bicycle 808 box but in black/grey/white would be awesome. It would be like The Wizard of Oz, startes out black and white (sepia really) and then becomes color.

I see on the Kickstarter page they are but I am not sure if it is up to date.

Ah that's a brilliant idea!! That would look fantastic. I don't think any Bicycle deck has done that yet. It would be very Wizard of Ozish haha. I think many people would love that

I'll be posting the proof of the uncut when I get it sometime this coming week...

the routine that will be on the DVD will use the rainbow card(s) you saw, so at this time there's at least one of the rainbow cards.

I've come up with a couple other routines which could use a double backer, so the gaffs are still being decided.

The art dept. is working on the setting up the colors right now, so I have this weekend to make up my mind about the gaffs.
The gaffs are based on the routines for the DVD.
