They're not THE best but they seem to have gotten a reputation for not fanning well and I just don't think that's true.  V. Slims are probably the best I've got... maybe V6s, new Massas or new Blades (i.e., not used much).
According to my experience, they need to be conditioned or handled for a while before they can fan perfect. I like Wynns for their elegant looking and quality stock, and I also collect their dices and chips ;)
