Hey guys,

I am working on learning the flourishes on Solo from T11. Anyway I was wondering what you guys think are the very best decks for doing flourishes?
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

I'm not very good at flourishing but try Tally Ho Titanium decks. And just regular tally ho decks.

Also, I think this should be moved to the magical cardistry section

Ok thanks. And I didn`t know where to put it so if a mod wants they can move it :)

O sorry about that. I probably should have done a search before making the thread then.

Anyway SOLO is awesome. I have almost mastered the first flourish in a few hours of practice. I could only like fan and one hand cut before but solo is great. Also the instruction is very detailed and makes it easy to follow. :)

From my personal point of view, the Split Spades  Lions and the White Lions are great for cardistry & magic.
They feel and handle so precise...the stock and finish is a great combo.
The cards stay very well together in cuts but in the same way they are fanning like butter.

As a alternative the S&M V6 handle very good aswell.

Currently waiting for those decks being released :
- Seasons [Primavera / Seronda]  / Aether [Vortex] / Bicycle [Actuators] / Mana [Oracle] / The Blue Crown - [Altruism] / Encarded [Tendril]

The decks mentioned above are all very good deck for cardistry. I can even say that the white lions are one of my favorite decks of all time. However if you're practicing at home , I don't see why is there a need to get these rarer decks to practice with. I would recommend you to pick up pheraps some Bikes or Tally Hos . For me , I practice with bikes and aladdins whereas I only use those custom decks for videos or when I'm out jamming with my other magician friends. Hope this has helped! :)

Bikes are perfect for flourishing ... if you are barely starting out stick to bikes man, you dont need other decks. Tallys are my favorite deck and theyre great, aladdins are awesome, massas are sick, etc. etc. etc.

All these choices are good ones.  In my opinion, Tallys (if you can get them cheaply enough) are the best for practicing and for "the real deal".  They not only handle well, but they shuffle and faro better because of how they're cut from the "deck sheet" the cards get printed on.  If you can't get cheap Tallys, Bikes are just fine; no need to jump through hoops looking for something fancy to practice with.

my alltime favorites (in no particular order):
aladin 1001 smooth finish
tally ho
smoke & mirrors v4
wynn ( casino logo) they are crap for fans but great for cuts and awesome for sculptures.

at the moment i only have artifice emrald and the blue ones v2 but usually like to have a variety and switch decks for practicing because i get bored when i look at the same backdesign.

for magic regular bikes are imho the best ones.
because they handle well and don´t look suspicious.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I have been using a LTD deck for a bit and it is really good. I love the finish on the LTD`s :)

haha I have 2 more sealed ones. I got 2 damaged ones from E and they said I had to destroy one. So I destroyed one and pretty much used the other one to nothing. It is very broken in now and handles great. I don`t feel it is a waste because I pretty much got it for free :)

No deck is "the best" for flourishing but obviously some are better then others.

Guys, please - post something that REALLY adds to the conversation.

Belk: some are better than others?  Which ones, in your opinion?
Nathan: the odds he's going to get an S&M v1 for starting out flourishing are slim to none, especially for practice.  Do you have any more affordable and more easily attainable suggestions?
JoshZachMatt: What problem?  Please, share it with the class...  Because if you have nothing constructive to say, just move on to the next topic; there's no need for a simplistic "me too" post.
