Hi there, could anyone tell me the name of the deck used in Jason England's false overhand shuffle video? Thanks.

hmmm, idk what it is but it is nice.
People say nothing's impossible, but I do nothing everyday.

Today I found something that reminded me of you. But don't worry I flushed and everything went back to normal.

This deck is made in Japan. It can be fanned, nice quality. Not as slippery as the USPCC deck.
There are red and blue version of the deck.

I knew, I have some. Shoot Ogawa often uses this deck.

I posted the question because a friend asked me what's the deck in this morning and I could not answer him.  :-[

Digipunk... I think an even more of a question would be why is Jason England wearing a women's tennis bracelet in that video???  Hahaha... Look close, I think he took that out of his mother's jewelry box... He's going to get some licks if she ever finds out... He's to old to be playing with his mother's jewelry...

  • Pick a card, any card...no, not THAT card!

I traded with Lalita for a few of these decks - they really do handle nicely, though I noticed the card edges looked spotted, possibly due to quality of the stock.  I'm rather fond of them myself.

That doesn't really look like a tennis bracelet.  Zoomed in, you can't see any gems on it, just metal.  Probably just a silver bracelet of some kind, maybe even a steel Medic Alert bracelet.

@jmrock, one thing you are right about -- he's getting old. I have almost all of his tuturial videos, from these videos I find age is turning his hair white.

@Don, you should send a pair of Club Angels to him. His deck looked dirty in the video.

Ha ha.  The image is a little soft focus, and you have to look close at the cards to notice it.  But like I said, I like them a lot and they do handle nicely.  Lalita didn't think they were a big deal because in Japan it's a common deck, akin to Bikes in the States.

Actually they are :P
They might be the best decks made in Japan so far.

These decks are Club Angel v2:
v1: http://asupa.exblog.jp/8066018
v2: http://asupa.exblog.jp/11320445/

Shoot Ogawa brought these decks when he held lectures in Taiwan. Now they are still available in his magic bundles. The price for a deck is almost the same as Bikes in Japan (that is ¥600-630, much more expensive than in US). I ever got some from friends in Japan but then gave them all away to friends here :'( :'(

Does anybody know how I can get my hands on a few of these Club Angle decks?  I've been looking on-and-off for a couple of years and the closest I've found is to go to an Australian Casino and purchase some used decks.  That is not currently realistic. :(

1. buy Lalita's handmade roses or its tutorial first
2. ask her buy some Club Angels for you

This is a great deal because you need not go to Australia.

Actually if Lalita can get these deck, I want 3 pairs too. But now I am helping her sell the roses, so I can skip to step 2.

I can buy those decks and sell/trade them.
But it has to be at april. I am now on vacation in Thailand  ;)

I think I'll post a thread related to Japanese decks later when I'm back at Tokyo.

Now I strongly feel your Wynn collection is incomplete, you need something!!
such as the black Wynn|Encore decks ???

I might trade you that, but let's think about this later when I'm in Tokyo.
Please wait for a thread at the sale/trade section. :)

Glad to hear that, I might need a brick (or 2), depends on your price and what other decks you want to trade for. :D

I went to Japan 6 or 7 times in last 10 years, but my card collecting didn't begin that early :(
