This deck's major allure is that it exists, beyond that it accomplishes nothing. The back design doesn't mean anything, it's just fancy artwork that is consistently released every month by other manufacturers. The theme seems iffy to me. If it's based around faith, then that's kind of silly, considering that cards are used in gambling and magic, two things outlawed by most religions.
The outer-glow on the AoS is silly. It looks like they didn't even chance the opacity or color settings. Everyone who has ever used Photoshop knows how awesome the OG layer style is, but also how terrible it is in its default state.
Times New Roman for a font is strange. New computers today ship with a lot more serif fonts that are infinitely better than TNR. I think Russell said they're using Arial too? I have no issue with that, Arial is a fantastic font and is one of the #1 used fonts for digital media. I think the problem is that the designers clearly didn't bother going above and beyond.
I would hate to call this garbage, but it certainly looks like almost no effort was put into the deck. Still, there is definitely redemption to be had if they show some awesome court cards and the like.
