I just wanna know about the handling of this deck compared to Jerry's.
And which one is older?
AgeAll Jerry's Nugget decks are with USPC stamp-like seals, but 1st-generation Golden Nugget decks have tax stamp or stamp-like seals. Obviously GN appeared earlier than JN.
I believe you saw this video, about JN's hidden secret, you may know exactly in which year a JN deck was produced:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_htHzYWtAgbut very few people know we can do likewise to GN's tuck boxes:
It is safe for me to say, the 1st-generation GN were produced for a longer span of time than JN.
The 2nd and 3rd (AC) generation were produced in late '70s to mid '80s.
HandlingJN's handling must be unique and that's why it's JN. Even then you should understand JN is not everything, there were many outstanding cards produced in that "Golden Age" (quoted from Don) and their special handling could never be reproduced, such as Golden Nugget, Dunes, or even Carson City decks.
When Jason England described Dunes, "...The cards are similar to Golden Nuggets and Jerry's Nuggets in terms of quality. They are very stiff, but seem to hold up well..."
JN is the most famous one among these decks, and you know why -- the genius twins used JN in their videos. Again, very few people notice GN were also used in their "Nursery Rhymes" notes:
There are many valuable articles on Taiwan blogs that describe the special coatings and handling of JN, GN, and Tahoe:
