Such searches are pretty geography-dependent.  When I search Magic Castle on Google from NYC, I get listings referring to the one in Hollywood, CA!

If something's forty-five minutes away, it's not really local, no matter what method you take to get there, even if it's in the same city.  You can't get from one end of New York City to another in forty-five minutes, even in a car and with no traffic - but that doesn't mean everything in New York is local to all New Yorkers.  The general rule of thumb a lot of Americans use is that more than thirty minutes away isn't local, and you really better have one awesome job if you have to commute more than an hour to get there (again, assuming no traffic).
