I think it costs extra to put a video in an ebay description. Also, why would people unfamiliar with the collectability of this deck want to spend 25$ on it? Clearly those who visit the page have a good idea of what the product is.

It doesn't cost extra, I have no idea where in the world Nathan heard that. You can embed youtube videos in product descriptions using html code.
