There are some decks that I use to perform and some just to open and admire, although these decks are taken out to handle for about 5 to 10 mins every few weeks. However, I have not taken my bearbricks out for about 4 months. It has been lying in its box since then. When I attempted to take them out today, it was close to impossible. Previously i only played wih them about 3 to 4 times for about 10 mins. The deck clumped together so bad that I couldn't even pull it out of its box. When they were out, I couldn't fan dribble properly as they are still clumped. After a while they felt slightly better but still not as good. I remember taking them out for the first time and they felt slightly smoother than your typical bicycle deck. They are now in my dry cabinet under some weight, hopefully the condition will improve.

Anyone here owns the bicycle bearbrick deck and have any similar experience? Does anyone also know the stock and finish of the deck?

Still very sad as it was a gift from my girlfriend :(

I have one of the be@brick decks and it handles very, very well. It doesn't clump much and lasts pretty long.  I don't know the stock and finish for sure but I thinks  it's Air Cushion and Bicycle 325

I have a big collection but I bust out the Be@rbricks now and then.  Never had any clumping issues, always handles smooth as silk.  Maybe you got a bad deck, or maybe your environmental conditions are bad for the deck?  It does have a lot of ink in the stock, on both sides...

I just took them out from the dry cabinet and they are now warped and still not as smooth as before. I think it is time to invest in a porper clip. for the time being they are under some heavy books till tomorrow.

So what do you guys like and dislike about this deck?

Btw is bicycle325 stock they one they use on normal bikes? which are the thinnest ones?

Hi Sieg, how is the climate over where you live? Most times, the extreme ends of temperature and humidity tend to cause the cards to warp. Since they were warped out of the dry cabinet, I suggest you keep the deck under a stack of books out in the open (living room or kitchen) to see if some moisture will restore the deck to its original state.

If all else fails, its time to move on. You either got a bad deck, or the deck has been condemned by the weather.

Well I happen to live in Singapore. Super humid. Trying to restore it under some books now :) hope it's good. Btw do I put the books on the cards while they are on the box or out of the box?

I think it has something to do with our weather, and i recommend u taking out the jokers and ad cards, so it would be easier to take out of the box.

I'm from Singapore too, and I leave my cards on a bookshelf. My cards would stick together if I leave them aside for too long, but a dribble or two and they would be back to normal.

Now that I know where you're from, I'm thinking the card stock must have absorbed too much moisture over the 4 months. I suggest you play with the deck everyday and see how it goes. Hopefully some of the moisture would go away. Keep the cards in the box when you put it under something heavy.

Get some silica gels or charcoals and put it together with the decks. I do that and well, my decks don't really clump unless i put them in a clip.

hello fellow singaporeans. I leave mine on an open shelf too. this is the only deck of mine that clumped :( other than the gold arcane which came clumped out of the box.

btw I like the originality of the deck. All the cards are 'custom' to a certain extent. my fav card is the joker with the bearbrick riding the bicycle.

@junjie I did use charcoal :)

Not enough? Or not useful? Maybe try using silica gel ?

Uh... Singaporeans are experiencing the same climate problems apparently... lol. I live in the Bay Area, and experienced no such problems with this deck. It handled smooth right out of the box, and handled great even after clumping. I even brought it to France for Christmas, where it was between 10 and -30°C the whole time. I used it for hours and hours to play card games with my grandpa and my 10-year-old cousin, and it still handled fine after that. My cousin liked the deck so much that I gave it to him :)

I don't have any dislikes.  I get a kick out of the big numbers in the background and the blank teddy bear court faces.

Bicycle 325 *was* the standard Bike stock.  I think it was because of issues with finish that they switched to 300.  It's about as thin/light as USPC gets.  They carry only four stocks: Bicycle, Aristocrat, Bee and Bee Casino.  There's a HUGE article or two around here that I wrote on the topic...
