Vintage Bee No. 92 with IRS Seal

I have recently acquired eight decks of Bee No. 92 playing cards.  One is opened and I don't think it has been used.  The other seven (four Red and three Blue) are unopened and have the IRS seal (cica 1940-1965).  The Ace of spades on the opened box is marked E3305 which suggests either 1943 or 1963.  All eight were part of a 12 pack.  I have the box which they came in.

Any idea of the value? 

Any interest in them since I am not a real card collector?

Here are close-up pics of a red and blue deck along with pics of the IRS stamp and then the whole group.

They are for sale but I am still trying to determine a fair price.

Based on emails received I am thinking of offering them as three pairs (one red and one blue).

I dont see many for sale with the seal still in tact, I bet you could get a bit more than the usual asking price

Maybe try putting up an auction on ebay and see how high the vintage collectors would be willing to go. You could put a reserve if you are scared of loosing money. How much did you get them for?
Or you could got to the "Sales, Trades, and ISOs" board, make a thread, and either auction these off with a low starting price or just sell them and say you are open to offers. Your choice. Good luck!

Something seems odd about the seals - the deck box is marked "N. Y. Consolidated Card Company" but the seal is stamped "C. D. C. Co.".  Consolidated decks would be canceled with "N. Y. C. C. Co." and USPC decks would be canceled with "U. S. P. C. Co.".  You might want to check with someone who can properly appraise those decks before you try selling them.  I've heard of websites that sell old deck seals.

I have had several offers to buy the decks but I trying to decide what to do.

I have decided to offer the decks in pairs - one blue and one red.  It seems that most people are interested in one of each.

I am asking $ 50.00 per pair.

If I have any decks left over I will go the ebay route.

I have to say, for decks that are so old, they're in a very good condition. The stamps are in tact, not dents in the tuck boxes(great shipping btw), just yellow on the tuck boxes.

Can someone give me some advice? I was thinking of getting one of those wonder sealers and seal em up to prevent further degradation of the decks. Is this necessary and advisable?

I own a resealer. I haven't used it on vintage decks since I own very few, but I have used it on recent decks (after 2004) and gimmicked decks. What I can tell you is the for the newer decks I own it serves its protective purpose very well. You might want to try resealing normal bikes and become proficient at it before giving a try at sealing rarer ones.
